Chad needs to get his pilot's license like junkman said and then get a small plane that will carry his main equipment and do a will come to you service rather than pickup and deliver.Really enjoy the series, great stuff!

Rich Beach I'm waiting until my son is of legal age to pilot. That way I can save lots $$$ on my son, my daughter and my own instruction towards getting a license. I'm kind of a cheapskate like that!

ummm nuthin to add was spot on. Oh wait before you go perfecting a fender on someone's car you should let them know first. Here in my neck of the woods in NY you can get hurt lol... Another great vid.

You do that with the customers that you know. Frequent visitors. Customers who have the financial means to afford to upgrade the services that they are paying for. Those are also the same customers who really care about their cars. They are an easy sell and probably don't have the last name "Gambino." :)

Nice episode, never really thought about the ''Do 1 panel where you up your game'' kinda deal, but I'll surely try it out! Just invested in business cards as well, cannot wait till they come, eventually I'll get onto the brochure!

I wonder if Chad has a corporate background. I feel like his word choice is always well thought out
@jonkrohn80407 жыл бұрын
Are we talking like personal planes or commercial planes???
@MRi2thesky7 жыл бұрын
Jon krohn we are talking personal aircraft, private jets, charter and corporate fleets. These are classified as GA or General Aviation. If you take notice on your next commercial flight, the major air carriers do little to maintain the finish outside of the occasional wash.

I want to take on some weekend warrior mobile work being that im a full time carpenter.. I was going to do some basic exterior wash and wax ONR services only.. Should I get a business license and insurance even though I'm doing it part-time and just starting off
@Junkman20087 жыл бұрын
Let's put it this way. It won't hurt if you do but personally, I wouldn't. If all you are doing are ONR washes, you would have to be Gomer Pyle to screw up something. But if you do, you'd be covered if you have insurance!

im wanting to get in the mobile detailing buisness as part time i was wondering what is the best vehicle that a detailer should have
@Junkman20087 жыл бұрын
*The vehicle that you should get should be the vehicle that YOU NEED.* Not everyone is going to need the same vehicle, nor is everyone going to offer the same services. YOU need to determine the services that YOU are going to provide and then outfit yourself with a vehicle that fits YOUR needs. There's no such thing as one vehicle fits all. Some guys tow a trailer of some sort.

PLEASE HELP: I own a car detailing business, we do only dealership cars and very few customer cars. We work in our own shop and pay rent. We do about 10-20 cars a day depends on if our employees feel like “showing up” to work that day. We need cheaper chemicals or cheaper labor. If you have any suggestions or other ways we can be more profitable it would be much appreciated. Thanks! We’ve been in business for 30+ years. We just aren't making nearly as much as we used to and some months are not profitable.
