Starting a new Fluval Flex 9G aquarium (aquascaping tutorial)

In this short video, I am showing how I planned and built the aquascape in my 9G fluval flex aquarium. Feel free to use this video as a tutorial or inspiration to to your own aquarium.
Aquarium informations : Fluval Flex 9G with unaltered stock filtration unit, with the exception of more biological media added. Plants : Dwarf chain sword, Anubias nana round leaf and Amazonian frogbit. Substrate & Hardscape : Seachem flourite dark, Fluval Stratum with Dragonstone rocks and Carib'Sea sand with some Grapevine Wood.

Where did you buy the fluval filter intake sponge?

Found it at my LFS but honestly any type of filter sponge would work (ex. aquaclear). You just need to cut it to size using a sharp knife/blade.

Why didn’t you use the carbon or what it was called filtration? Should I use it in this tank if I have a betta fish in this tank?
