omg.. i have been following you for years, and i have been seriously considering locking my hair over the last few weeks.. and I definitely want to do them myself (ok, technically not me, but my daughter) and then find someone for the upkeep, or now have my daughter watch your videos and she can maintain them for me (wishful thinking). so glad this popped up on my feed today

Enjoy your journey Mary. I have sisterlocks which were done by a certified technician in 2020. The only reason why I waited so long (I actually wore faux locs ) Is because I couldn't find anyone in my area to do sisterlocks. I must say it was the best decision I ever made. It cost a lot I can't lie and sitting still for over 10 hours is no joke when you have a bad back, but the results on my grey/silver hair brings compliments every time I go out! My hair was about 4 to 5 Inches long when I started and they are now around 13 inches long now. Its not for everyone so you need to be sure. You need to take care of your hair just as much however, as they grow you will find them very versatile. I hope that the little man is growing strong! Blessings xxx
