The thing about Ben is that his skill has a counter, so he's more like a switch in character to counter and switch out rather than using his normal combo. So his movement speed isn't really an issue.

Agreed, Ben isn't the character to run around with, he is the one you switch in to tank hits and counter.

As a Belobog main it always upset me when people get mad that Ben is slow or didn't deal big damage when they clearly play him wrong. If u play Genshin just think of Ben as Beidou. I was a Beidou main early on so I love using Ben
