Thank you for the video, I hadn't done any loom work for a few years, still remebered how to do it but needed to add thread to a piece I promised a friend. This was very instructional ^,^

How do you put the treads on? I would have liked to see the ends of the loom. Thanks.

@d2008new Thank you. It's nice to know that they are helpful. I need to redo this one, I had trouble with new camera and ended up out of range on some parts.

Very helpful. Thank you! Any suggestions for a clasp on this type of bracelet?

This is really cool. I just finished making my bracelet, and there's many different ways to end it, but I didn't think to do what you did. And I'm Native American, so I learned how to tie the ends differently. But I also like your ideas :)

It's not easy to explain, it's better to see it, like hands on, and in person.

Thank you so much... I have subscribed to your videos and very much appreciate your taking the time to teach how this is done correctly... I am Native and do a variety of seed bead work myself. I am always looking for new techniques to bead with. Do you know how to Brick stitch the traditional way. I am also trying to learn how to do this correctly as well.... Again, Thank you.

I know the 2 rows were just added for the tutorial, but that last row not being done right was just bugging me, haha. I'm still new to looming so this was so helpful :)

the shivering of the beadwork could easily be corrected to add a more uniform and professional look, Delica beads are perfect for this type of work.

I use seed beads purchased from Fire Mountain and Gems online. You can use larger beads for looming.

You need to stretch you thread gently before putting it on your loom. Nymo needs to stretched more than the other threads. Running your thread thru a cake of beeswax helps get it stretched and the beeswax makes it stronger and less likely to break. You can find it in the sewing section of Walmart or Joanns or buy it online.

On the last row of green beads you can see where three of the beads were missed by the needle and how the warp thread is above them. If you see that on your beadwork you know you missed those beads and need to redo the row.

What was next? Did you just cut the thread without knotting it? Also I am really trying to find instruction on how to take the beads off the loom. I'm making a bracelet.

@SacredFireLodge Brick stitch was the first stitch I learned and used for years. I want to make a video showing how to make a beading loom out of shoe box using the same technique as the picture frame loom. After that I will make the brick stitch tutorial. :)

There is a way to do a endless warp. I have never done it myself. Read about it a few years ago. You wrap it a certain way. When you are finished weaving you pull the warp thread through the beads. I will try and find the info for you.

Hello, I was watching your amazing work and I was just wondering what needle and thread do you use? And do you recommend combining size 11 and size 6 beads in the same piece of work or will it be unbalanced? Thank you!! :)
@SvetlanaOstrovskaya279 жыл бұрын
I've read the comments just to see if you noticed your beads in the last row hanging not affixed to the warps. You did - did you do that on purpose (I guess not - you'd mention that during the process). Funny that no one (as far as I read the comments) noticed that...You said you need to re-do the work - just this place?
