I have just started to wok on this setup method. Results were mixed in the beginning rather startling as the consistent contact become the norm.

Great tip. I struggle with hitting slightly behind the ball. Thanks 😊

Crazy, I actually just realized this issue about a week ago. I was always wondering why I was getting "under" it and getting no distance. What made me make the realization was actually learning how to hit a stinger and in one random youtube video I saw someone comment on how everything in that video was actually opposite of what you're supposed to do and that Tiger mentioned to keep your trail shoulder "higher" at startup. So I was looking at my start up in the mirror and noticed my trail shoulder was actually a lot lower than should be and spine angle tilted as if I was hitting a driver. my exaggerated feel now is that my trail shoulder feels level with my lead shoulder and never feels like im leaning away on impact. Compression and distance has improved almost instantly

It's possibly the only element of stack and tilt that works really well. I've loaded the front foot and pretty much kept the weight there throughout the swing for a long while now and irons have been a much purer strike. Unlike stack & tilt, I dont keep my weight moving to target throughout the swing. It's loaded, stays there and after impact loads on to front foot to a finish.

That is my standard swing. I feel that a lot less can go wrong in the swing and like you say a far better compression. But you should say that one really needs to swing to the outside the moment of impact. Otherwise, you will have pulls to the left. (39 years single hcp)

Hi Russell; Isn't starting with your weight foward a stack & tilt set-up? Can you not use Stenson's presetting the weight on the trail side do the same by eliminating the weight shift to the backswing?

Sir, Is this tack & tilt? 😅

This is a slice/fade swing. Definitely not favorable for inside out swing. Definitely not bad for wedges and shirt irons for covering but 100% will screw up your game because a slice/fade setup will feel normal.
