I run a reselling business and once you find out what products sell, you'll be fine. I sell on eBay, Amazon, Mercari, OfferUp, Letgo and Facebook Marketplace. I also find items on those sites to flip back onto the other sites. You can also find gems at thrift stores and things that are on clearance at stores like Walmart, Target, etc. can also pull in some big money. Also, I learned this earlier this year, once you learn how to coupon, you can get stuff like Tide detergent for $1/piece and create bundles to flip on all these sites. The more you think out the box, the more money you'll make.

I'm an extremely part time eBay-er. The very best thing I've learned is to embed a video in the ebay listing and demonstrate the item. Now, mind you, I wouldn't do this for a 99 cent item but for something that is over $100 it works like magic. I'm usually humorous and personal in the videos. You have a much more outgoing and positive personality than I do. I know that it would work for you. I am amazed when my eBay items containing videos sell in a couple of hours. The videos are easy to make, you do it on an iPhone in one take. No editing. It is free to embed the video in the listing and it gives you a huge edge on your competition. Try it Reyeeeeeeeeees!
DONT BUY PADDED ENVELOPES. go into your local supermarket go to the fruit isle and just take the bubble wrap use on their fruit and veg. they will just throw it away so you can just take it. Or go behind the stores and they will have passive pallets full of plastic and bubble wrap they plan to recycle. You can also do this also for small cardboard boxes that you can flapback and store. Go on amazon and buy black mailing bags you can get like 100 mailing bags for like $5 and then use with the free bubble wrap.

Few tips: Don't bother too much with lawn sales. You can get lucky, sure, but its rare. Try to start at Goodwill or whatever donation stores are near you. They always are turning over donations so they care less about what the real item is worth they just categorize their items and give generic prices, that is the best way to find a price deficiency you can collect on (Which is the real name of the game). Try and pick ONE category at first like say Shoes or Books or DVDs/Video Games, get fluent in that area and then add more areas after awhile. Second, invest in a label printer Dymo 4xl is mu suggestion, because the time saved is well worth it. Buy generic 2000 pack labels from ebay for it do not pay dymo label prices. Labels start to become .002 cents and less the longer your machines lasts. Printing with ink and paper and tape is a waste of time money and resources. Thermal is the way to go. Sign up for USPS account and have padded bubbles and tyveks and all the different flat rates mailed to you for free (Spread the orders out, think of your carriers) Invest in a quantity of mailers, individual mailer prices are insane rip offs. Get a cheap electronic scale off Amazon for 20 bucks, figure out shipping BEFORE, Free Shipping can be risky. Finally some may argue this one but don't bother with small profit items, you're wasting time earning 2-5 dollars a sale. Try and aim for 10+ profit on items. Just some tips. I've been selling for one year now and doing ...OK. I actually earned enough money this year to buy a heat press and vinyl cutter with my profits. Hopefully I can start making shirts as soon as I figure all this out! Thanks for your videos!

Use your Ebay app to look up anything before buying. You have to look at how the specific item is selling and consider whether most are selling for FREE shipping or not. It can be a waste of time to sell items for 15-25 dollars. Fees/shipping will ping your profit. Be patient. Shop in older, established nice neighborhoods. Consider if you have the means to ship an item (long tripod). Grab empty amazon boxes from the curb on garbage day. They're everywhere now. BE PATIENT. Better to buy one item that nets $100 profit than to pick up 10 that each net $10. Great content, Reyes!

When you first start you have to give a little to gain what's most important which is your feedback. Feedback is the heart of a seller. Most people buy based on reviews, and if you have no reviews, it's not bad, but it's not good either. Because 95% of buyers are buying based on Reputation, and #2 Price!

Maybe if you add more to the sell price and make it free shipping or make it less on sale price and add some shipping price to it
@eagle___empire31756 жыл бұрын
You add the price of shipping in the cost. Its a front to seem like free shipping
@clayscott696 жыл бұрын
It's good to offer free shipping. People love to see that and will on average buy an item solely on the fact that shipping is "free" even if another item is a little cheaper but shipping is not free. I have had people admit that for example, if something was $15 with free shipping, and then the same item on another listing was like 12 or 13 with 2 bucks shipping, they wouldn't even think twice and go right for the $15 one just because it says free shipping. People are attracted to that. So free shipping is good in most cases, but if it's a heavy and bulky item, you have to calculate and add shipping cost into your list price if you want to offer free shipping and make a profit.

Just a tip when sourcing goods for eBay: the most you should pay for something you plan to resell is 30% of the final sale price (with shipping included). This rule doesn't apply if the item is worth less than $10. It's usually not worth your time of listing, taking pictures, paying for shipping, and fees to sell items that are worth less than $15 unless you are sourcing from $0-$1.

In order for you to graduate to be a seller. You need to need to sell 25 items and sell at least $356. Along with the 25 item reaching there destinations. They put up a 10 item limit which can be lifted as long as you call and answer some vetting questions. After your qualified to post 125 packages a month and sell up to $5000.

@Reyes I grew up visiting the local dollar stores and thrift stores for buying clothes, shampoo, toys, etc. Lemme just say that King Dollar is probably a very good outlet. Out of all the dollar stores, King Dollar is the best; it's not a typical discount store like most dollar stores. King Dollar is an actual dollar store with nothing over $1.25 (and tax). I've picked up massive bags of warheads (the sourest candy on the market), amazing name brand shampoos, body washes, and conditioners that sell for up to $20 in places like CVS, and I've found other simple things that tend to be in demand. My mom liked to collect antique dishes to replace plastic and china ones and you could also make a killing off of selling these. Go to your local thrift stores and they are bound to have antiques like bone glass, Fire King, silver (which isn't too uncommon), etc, and my favorite: carnival glass! We've also had a friend who's made thousands of dollars in the past couple years off of selling homemade little tike stickers. It's ridiculous what you can sell!

A couple things I've learned doing this: if it's big or weighs more than a couple pounds, UPS and FedEx are better options. With those items, I run them on Facebook marketplace for a couple weeks before listing on eBay so I can sell it without worrying about shipping. Offering free shipping hasn't seemed to work for me. It's best to figure out your shipping and packaging costs, including fees, ahead of time and posting the price for what you want to put in your pocket. By doing that, not only do you not have to find out you undercut yourself in the end, but eBay isn't hitting you as hard with the percentage of their cut. If you are hitting garage sales or thrift shops, think about how heavy the item is and estimate shipping. Books are easy to sell but but are heavy as hell for shipping. I made $380 last month selling items I already owned and bought a cheep car with it that gets 3x better gas milage than my truck which will pay its self off in 7.5 months and I can easily sell for more than I paid for it. Happy hunting

Also tips: 1) You're spending too much money on bubble mailers, if you buy in a pack of 25 or 50 on ebay/amazon they will come down to about 12 cents per mailer instead of the dollar that you spent for ONE. 2) You should stay away from some of the bigger items which are costly to ship, at least at first 3) You should try to only spend less than a dollar per item 4) The lighter the item, the better!

You the real deal! Not all this glamour but how a real person goes through. I with you on how Gary Vee makes everything look easy just like other. No it's not easy spending your time and gas money to make a little $$ but like you said you need to research more and learn the game. Also, I noticed you focused on bid items and not regular items that sell. Those bidded items sometimes sell more than the regular items but you have to know. Good video!

Hey Bro, im right there with you. I just got into the flipping game. So far I have about 2500$ of my own money tied up in inventory that I thought would be easy sells. So frustrating

Reyes, for many of those things, do not ship them expedited. for instance, Just add 50 cents stamps for the flashdrive. Its a gamble bc the buyer could say they did not receive it but its a gamble well worth it .

You can get free shipping supplies from the post office if you order priority mail boxes or ask for them at the counter... shipping is usually cheaper that way compared to flat rate boxes... and weight your items with the box on your scale and add about 4 to 8 oz depending on how much bubble wrap u use. 😁

Hey Reyes I sell on eBay.. to make posting easy find an item exactly like yours then under the photos in their post their will be a bottom that says something like “sell one like this” or “sell yours” press that. It will start a listing and take 75% of the info off of their post and transfer it to yours so it’s less you have to do. And you can use your phone to scan the barcode on brand new items and start a draft on your phone and pick up on the computer and buy a dymo 4xl so you don’t have to tape the label on the package. Also reiken profit on KZbin sells guides to the best items to sell in each category. Also consider shipping when you buy. To me that globe is to high risk. Can’t go first class it’s over a pound and it might break. Also you can order usps priority/flat rate boxes and evolves free to your house through usps.com

The trick to making as much as you can weekly is to list as many items as you can. some will sit for a while but since you are listing 50+ items you have more chances of making some serious cash because the more you list the more eBay pushes your eBay store. think about buying comic books and put them into lots, cards, toys, leather jackets, etc...it works for me.

In December alone I made $750. My mom and dad made over $3,000. It really is easy, go to thrift stores, garage sales and shop the clearance section. Have eBay open and start searching items to see what they sold for and see if it’s worth it to buy.
