I just rebuilt the rear end in my titan and I say you can regear it. it’s not as hard as you think if you get the right tools you could do it in a weekend. I seen on another video you was talking the flex isn’t different with the lift I have ran no sway bar for 2 years with no problem and I also offroad almost every weekend here in Kentucky. Even if you don’t want to take it off I know people how just remove the end links when they get to the trail and put the back on after.

What's up Aaron! So why this swap? The RC lift not working out for off-roading? If you could you do it again, would you skip Rough Country and go straight to Titan swap?
@4wdAdventurz3 ай бұрын
Well, the reason why I am swapping is because my goals with the truck has changed since installing the rough country kit. I think it’s still comes down to what your needs are. If I had no plans to leave, Florida in off-road, the rough country kid would be more than enough. Since Florida is flat and doesn’t require hardly any articulation, the Titan Swap is a worse option because it is less of a lift and you pay for a lot articulation that you’re not gonna use. In Florida, you simply need to get higher off the ground , which the rough country kit does a great job of.

Without changing the rear axle, yes. Front CV axles, no. The CV's need to be longer in order to fit the wider track.

@@LuisReyes-ul3ud No, no thing additonal needs to be changed. Youll need titan upper, titan lowers, titan swapped CV's (not the same as titan cv's so make sure you have the right ones) , titan tie rods, some extended breaklines, and your choice of coilovers.

I saw something about the CV Axle M205 in another one of your videos. When I search for it on Google, I get a lot of Titan options. Are there any specific brands?
@4wdAdventurz18 күн бұрын
@ a M205 is the diff out of a Nissan Titan, so you don't want those because unless you're swapping diffs, they won't fit. Head over to z1offroad.com and they have everything you would need. Or you can call them and they can tell you what you need.

How's a 35" tire a mall crawler tire?
@monocogenit13 ай бұрын
@@rockie307 not a 35" tire in general. just that one looks like something you'd see on a stupid jeep or something. the frontier is not a huge/overly powerful vehicle. Adding massive wheel tire combo more than likely adversely affects performance, not helps it. prob part of the reason he kept breaking CVs. a 33" tire is about as big as I'd go on a frontier. any much bigger than that and you add lots of weight/stress to driveline/suspension components. I bet his wheel/tire setup weighs at least 75lbs per wheel/tires. maybe more. these trucks were not designed for that type of weight to be hanging off the axles.

I'm curious about the tire clearance, I'm hearing guys saying just the Titan swap alone with stock tires caused massive rubbing issues and had to cut allot of metal. I know you have already trimmed, probably more than anyone I have seen yet. I have a 5-1/4 lift and had to trim allot to clear 33's with +18 offset. It's kinda the only reason I haven't T swapped, I don't want to go through the hassle of trimming more, I get 8 months of snow where I'm at and need to protect the wheel wells from the salt.

From my understanding, the bushings on the radflo’s are a bit noisy in the Dobsons was a bit better in price. Went with the 220 spring rate. Probably should’ve went 110 but I was afraid the 110 wouldn’t be enough to handle a bumper and winch..
