The vibration might be your drive line, balancing your driveline from time to time will help. The next issue is your rear end. The load weight is going to put more strain on the differential gears. What you are doing will require frequent differential maintenance.

@@Vikingarrogance It was trailer tires related. Never had vibrations when driving without the trailer.

@Mr.AlexKogan What was wrong with them balance was off? I bought a Toy hauler that was brand new. I drove it from Alaska to Oklahoma and I noticed that only one of six hubs had the leads coming out of the back of the brakes. Lucky for me the dealership was only 12 miles away. Not a single axel had a full set of brake components. They fixed it all for free.

@@Vikingarrogance I think the tires were just worn down so it was causing vibration.

If you haven't done so already, look closely for broken or shifted belts. These will definitely cause a vibration like you're describing.
@Mr.AlexKogan
@Mr.AlexKogan Жыл бұрын
I looked at the tires and I don’t see any bulges or anything out of the ordinary. I have a feeling I do have a slight rear end vibration at same speed just in the truck with no trailer. Maybe when the trailer is hooked up it amplifies it.

Just wanna hop on and say I enjoy your videos man! I got my CDL last year, then trained and drove w TMC for a few months. The money just wasn’t there as a company driver (at least not for my needs). So, I’m back working shift work in the plants down in Louisiana. What I miss most about driving was the constant sense of adventure! Please keep the videos coming! Maybe one day I’ll grab a truck and get back in the game. Cheers!

am I the only one still amazed Alex can pound 6-12 donuts and never gain any weight. haha. love it. vibrations could be driveline in the truck. and it may be dependent on trying to pull more weight where it'll vibrate more.
@Mr.AlexKogan
@Mr.AlexKogan 9 ай бұрын
I think I narrowed the vibration down to trailer tires being worn down a bit uneven. They do have 120k miles on them. Almost time for new ones. The more donuts you eat the leaner you get 😁👍🏻🤣

Can you make a video on your insurance costs and pros and cons of cdl non cdl insurance. I heard 20k yearly is min on insurance if i go commercial. But again watching on youtube university some hotshot chaneel non cdl/cdl mentioning 200-350$ max monthly insurance: thats a huge difference compared to 20k yearly. Not sure whats the catch here .if i am not wrong i believe you did mention somewhere about 20k+ insurance premiums. Could you clarify on that please. Appreciate what you do to make a living. Soon Moving into from Canada

CDL or Non CDL, it’s still commercial insurance for truck and trailer and cargo. It will never be $300-350 a month. It will be more than $1000 per month for sure. Anyone tell you that pay $350 a month, they are full of it.

You're worried about failing but, remember this... You can not succeed if you do not try. Famous old quote. I would say to keep watching as many videos that pertain to what you want to do. see exactly what you find yourself saying, I can do that or I'm not sure about that. make a list. Similar to a pros and cons list. Talk with as many drivers as you can, even if they are tractor trailer drivers. It is in many ways quite similar to hotshot. If you can get a ride along with a driver, that would be great help to you.
@Mr.AlexKogan
@Mr.AlexKogan Жыл бұрын
Definitely would be great if you can ride along with someone and get the feel of what it’s like. Maybe try securing a load as well. I believe the hardest part for you and anyone beginning is investing into a truck, trailer, all the equipment and all the fees associated with registering your company. Paying for commercial insurance before you can even hit the road. All of these expenses are the hardest part of this job in the beginning.

@@Mr.AlexKogan that’s exactly why I’m thinking about doing the hotshot out of Baltimore versus Arizona because I know I’m gonna have issues with the load and I’m thinking about having two different types of trailers as I can afford it one for 30,000 pounds little bit shorter for more construction vehicles, and then another 53 footer little bit lighter but longer of course I’ll have to start out with one of the trailers.
