Personally when I first started making art I felt the exact same way. But I like to remember that when I make something that I don't like, it's just practice for something that I will like. Art is about the creative process and not about the end result. Getting in that 'artist flow' is so much more valuable.

I loved this video, thank you so so much Moya! I’ve so things to share about it: 1. I was vegan for a few years but I’ve come to realise that saying no to cakes, not truly choosing the things I want to eat, not being able to share cultural foods and not being able to share food with the people around me without asking what’s in it or looking at the labels makes it really restrictive and unhealthy for me so I removed that label. I feel free now and that’s way better. This doesn’t mean I don’t love and care for the animals and the planet but I can’t take care of them if I don’t take care of myself :) You don’t have to be perfect, you are doing your best and that is enough 2. In the little exercises for drawings and sketches one I love is drawing in one line so never taking your pen off the paper. The best advice I’ve received is to look at the model more than you look at your drawing, it really helps to make sure you are drawing what you see rather than what you think you should see :) 3. I’d absolutely love a series of videos about art from you! Maybe you could talk about your favorite artists and paintings and saying why you love them too? Just to add a bit of your personality in the videos? Idk Thank you for sharing a bit of your life with us, you’re amazing xxx

I loved this... recently I've been going through the exact same feeling and seeing this so clearly like looking in the mirror the twinge of fear and uncertainty, the initial conflict of trepidation, excitement and so many questions, and then the imminent fall from that crest into a low trough: it's awful, you're awful, you'll never be good enough, these people are so good, I'm such a phony! the crying in the bathroom -- I can feel that through the screen. It's so so hard to be a creative and to start on the odyssey to which may or may not even have a satisfying end (the unattainable dream AH!!!!). I've just finished a novel and have just started slowly, slowly, slowly, like a salted pistachio in a closed shell (you just want to get at it but you can't, not with nails nor teeth), opening it up to others to read and receiving feedback has been so so hard. But these things, like all things, like life, like relationships, like college, are processes and the important thing is to have a enjoy what you are doing while doing it. Can't wait to follow you on this journey Moya, so happy for you! xxxx
