Experiment with a crusher. Flat planes pushed down with pistons do a lot of damage.

Saw Blades dont injure any type of bots. Just scares them. Saw Blades sometimes couses glitch to a bot can't be killed

Even though they don’t do damage, it’s reassurance to know the haybots can stay back. I’m using a pressing system in order to crush the bots.

Here’s a fix for your logic: Set each sensor to Switch. Connect both sensors to an XOR gate. Connect the XOR gate and the on/off switch to an AND gate. Connect the AND gate to the pistons and the engine. It will never jam.

The sensor thing: (I don't have the game so I'm just guessing based on real life): Try attaching it to other logic gate so it will stay on even if you turn off the main switch. I think that may be the issue. I'm not sure how things work in that game, but that's the idea because I think that cutting the "power" to the sensor when it is on is what makes it go haywire. Great videos and I think you are one of the most enjoyable guys who do scrap mechanic (one of, because Drae is the most enjoyable but it's just because he's so bad at it)

Make a car elevator so when the farm bots attack your base your vehicle can be safe by raising it into the air.

@Jaeger Nelson - Bots only come if they come over your base (that is pretty uncommon) or if you plant food. If he doesn’t plant food, he won’t be raided. and even if he did, he can just move his cars so they won’t be hit. The bots *ONLY* go for the crops. They will go through anything in their way though.

You can get infinite chemicals with a pump going into a large chest. Same setup as you would do for water just find a chemical plant with the pinkish liquid.

you can use a and gate its really simple AND == if all inuts are 1 at the same time output is one OR == if any input is 1 output is one and if there is an n before it its just every combination just reversed. you can use logic blocks for many things. Oh and XOR means the output is one if exactly one input is one.

Make piston engine for your scout car-it uses no fuel ( I find tutorial by kan gaming)

It's up to them though. Piston engine is slower than lvl 5 engine, its not ideal as a scout vehicle.

Something I saw on a different Yt-channel (Moonbo): Have a crusher coming down on the bots. Insta-kill all both beneath you (you can put a saddle on a crusher to control it). There is some different in how it interacts with stuff connected to the ground and stuff not connected to the ground. Also, if you stick with the saw blade: why not have 2 saw blades , 1 on each side. This way, you have less pistons on both sides.

THE SAW MECHANISM WILL NOT WORK. My reasoning is because you will need to micromanage 3 other walls. Also I tried that with the boss bots, they do not mind the saws.

@@Gangsign-dp6zl it doesnt, already tried there are islands though some are small and if you find the right size enemies wont even spawn on the island so you can have like a 250 plot farm with light walls for the small 3 hit robots that swim and manage just fine

you can build controller, and attach it to your piston so it can have 15 long/piston, so you dont have to worry about using so much piston, and you can do looping with controller too

Yes, I also noticed this feature) But I have a horizontal strip bolted to the axis with a saw or drill at the end. And also, I have a small roof in front of the garage and I somehow attached a saw there, so that it just does not interfere. Bots get under the saw and go stupid.

You can get the chemicals by finding them in crates, putting a pump in a chemical pond or picking up chemical water with a bucket at the chemical pond.

Z, it's better to get gattling spuds than sawblades since they don't do damage. Also, physics exists in this game, and you can use it for *fun*. I made a bot ejector by putting eight max upgraded pistons under two ramp, each of the pistons connected to L pipes that's connected with a bearing to iron panelings. When the connected sensor detects bots, it will raise the pistons at full speed, flinging the bots away and ragdolling them so you can get free shots. Another device I'd made is botwash knocker, basically a piston-powered device with 4 large 'hands' made by anything you can get (wood, bots hand, stone etc) that continues to spin vertically like in carwash. Doing so will repel bots continually, even the large farmbot if you set the height correctly so it can't destroy the blades.

I see that you need lighting above the crops area. I grabbed a bunch of lights from around the area, painted and set to max easier to work at night. Also made a lift for my vehicle along with ditching the gas engine going with piston "NO GAS!!". Keep building

protecting corners is simple by placing a Saw in the corner proper and reinforced accordingly. to prevent gaps that might be exploited, stagger the blades by one block vertically so they overlap preventing direct contact to the wall proper. use two saws synchronized to run Back & Forth augmented by fixed corner saws.

To power base defenses for saws and such zi, use a controller, it can control 10 per controller. Set the speed to 360 on activation and turn on loop. I would like to show you my base gates. I have sliding gates with a saw blade arm that drops down when you close the gates. Its all done through controllers and logic gates. Super easy to do. Email me!

I imagine buttons are meant to function upon press and/or release. Same for the switch. Can' t say how it worked in this game, but it seems like it is meant to send when the button is pushed. Switch on the other side sends the same way. Button sends so long as it is pushed in. Obviously the switch isn't meant to start pushed in so it does not get the command to send. Or how I see it working in my head anyways im no coder or engineer

Saw blades wont do any damage but it will scare the bots off. They will keep on trying to find an angle to avoid the blades. You can stuck lots of blades around the wall and just take them out with the potato gun

Did you know you can just build platform to put on the lift and smash the robots into the ground. As stuff on the lift doesn't interact with creations attached to the ground.

The bot is probably refusing to attack because the it wants to go around the blade to get the wall but whenever it tries to the blade moves so the bots ai doesn’t know what to do so if you made a moving thing like that all around your base bots wouldn’t go after your walls

you can have both sensors set to switch mode then connect them both to the xor gate. then connect the xor gate and the switch to the and gate and then connect the and gate to the pistons

Haybots at sometimes, aren't scared of saws, the green ones are. They back away if you have them on ur vehicle. Haybots back up if you're to high and they don't "see" the wall. Haybots attack my saws on my vehicle if it ain't moving. They smart yo. Build walls out of heads.

Hello! May I suggest to make two more elevators the same way you have to get up to base but wide enough to drive your vehicles on! Also you might need to remove one sensor that’s side by side to the other end maybe! I haven’t gotten the game yet but plan to do so! Thanks for entertaining!
