Your garden is coming along nicely. When I was young and lived in a small town, my parents had a big garden at the back of our house, we kids(6 of us) helped with the planting and picking. My favourites were the peas and raspberry bushes! But I did enjoy all of the other vegetables as they tasted so good fresh from the garden. I miss this (although at my age I don't miss all the work of preparing the garden!) I'm in a small condo so I only grow herbs, tried tomatoes and they didn't do well. I just wish our farmers market could reopen to get fresh veggies, fruit and eggs and meat! .. Love watching your son so involved with helping in the garden - so cute!😀☀️🧤🦆🐐🍅🥒🥕🌽🍓🌶️

Oh my goodness. When I saw you put a shovel in the ground and dig a hole I wanted to cry. Do you know how blessed you are to have actual dirt? In Tennessee we can’t put a shovel in the ground...it’s hard as a rock...we have clay. I seriously cried when he dug Howe with his hands...I had dirt envy for sure. Love watching your endeavors...I also loved those green bowls that are in the garage on the cabinets. If you want to sell them let me know. What a blessing for your family to do this while you are so young.

Love your green house. Love all your videos. You all are just awesome 😊 I just recently purchased snap dragons, petunias, red geranium's. And my peony just bloomed for the first time. We transplanted it from our last place. Keep up the great work. ♥️ Stay safe.

I'm with you, Jor, that tomato juice is the best part. I remember grabbing one off the vine, running it under the hose then enjoying every juicy bite. My gma gardened until she was 97. Even then, she still had a quarter acre and Grandpa had been gone well over a decade. When her kids were at home and even several years past that, she tended an acre. That was without corn. Grandpa grew feed corn so that and the sweet corn were his responsibility. I had moved away and never did more than a couple containers with tomatoes. Those have been my one constant. When I moved back, I loved heading out to the farm to help pulling weeds and pulling stories from gma. She was never much of a talker. Weeding is more fun when you can talk with someone else. The farm that started out as my great grandparents' homestead now belongs to an uncle and aunt who will never live there. They've been missionaries in Portugal for close to 40 years. It is their home. Both will be 70 soon and there are no signs of retiring. Anyway, the ladies missionary group from gma's church took over her garden the year she had to go to the Eden House (long term care) and they continue to garden that space five years past her death. They sell the produce at a couple farmers markets and all the money then goes to help support the church's missionaries. Pretty slick set up they've got going. Usually a lady or two bakes bread or sweets each week to add to their profit. All those ladies are getting older and church membership is dwindling so I'm sure the days of gma's garden are numbered. Kind of hard to think of the first year, in over a century, of no garden there. I don't talk to my uncles, either the one who owns the farm or the one who lives just down the road but maybe I should and maybe they would allow a community garden to use the space. I know a young lady looking for that opportunity. I know she would love to work along side the ladies doing it now. hmmm The wheels are a turning. Sorry for rhe novel. lol Your channel seems to bring up all those old memories. 😀🍅🍉🍆🌽

You should absolutely find as way to keep that garden going! Sounds as good a reason as any to make contact with relatives. 😊 You never know, maybe your aunt and uncle whom are missionaries would be happy to know someone in the family shows interest in the place. I think that would be a worthwhile conversation! I will pray it all works out for you and the garden! ❤

🌲I hope you don’t mind a suggestion. Living Traditions Homestead has done a garden that is “safe”weed free . As busy as y’all are it looks like a great idea . Homesteading Family is a great family from Idaho and they are a great channel for down to earth people she does a lot of canning and medicinal projects🌲🎚

Great job, each and every one of you, even the kids; they both are so adorable! I grew up around farm animals and gardens, as my maternal grandma & my parents had them. Grandma's gone to heaven now, but my parents still have their garden; got rid of the chickens & roosters as they aged (too much work). I personally have farm animals in my country farmhouse themed home in the form of pics, plaques, and figurines. I especially love roosters and have my kitchen filled with them. I do grow all sorts of flowers & plants (a few herbs), though. You guys are amazing! Can't wait for you all to finish renovating the farmhouse.

Love watching u guys n the children getting evolved in planting ur garden. I do hope everything u have planted grows tall n strong. It looks like u have nice rich soil. I don’t grow vegetables ( husband does like veggies n he can’t eat any green ones either) I love em mostly all kinds but would be a waste for me pant veggies if I’m the only one eating it. So I plant flowers. Love my flowers. Of course I’m Florida there’s only certain flowers u can grow here that the heat n humidity won’t hurt. I love planting echinacea (purple come flower) but I don’t have much luck with the seeds. So I but the plant. I’ve also tried planting Hollyhocks It only happen one time by seeds. Every year I try with no luck. So I gave up. Wishing all of my best. Have a great Sunday even tho it’s a little wet in ur state. ♥️😊👍
