Check out the Vexor best ship for ratting used it for years in EO uses rail guns and is a super drone boat. o7

Oh I do agree with you, They're only really useful up close and personal, Personally my goal is to get the Dominix Battleship of the Gallente (cuz imma Gallente Player) Have it equipped with 2 large sets of long range turrets and 1 set of large Snubnose turrets ALL RAILGUNS btw, Then the final set will be a mixture of whatever I feel like and whatever works in the moment of battle, But I have honestly thought Missle,

I am loving rails... And I am using snubnosed on my Daredevil and my Moa. Moa I havr an AB on and don't really struggle with range, as the falloff is quite forgiving. Dps is almost 400, will be when I skill up a bit more toom

I've been using a vexor navy with snubnose rail guns, 2 webs and a nos on the mids, and 2 reps, prop, and battery in the lows. If I had a point, I'd replace the nos and 1 rep with the point and a plate. The drones give you good long range damage if you need to kite, and the snubs with drones and 2 webs give you excellent damage application up close where you prefer to be anyway.

yep that's my setup too in T10 storyline while my alt's frigate kites the mobs haha. Insane dps

Navy issue catalyst with snubs and higher skills can do damage out to 4-5k. But if you want to just wipe the deck, just set approach target at 1 or 0 km and watch ships melt. You're not speed tanking in a destroyer.

Been avoiding these but they do look way more balanced in this game that eve-online. Seen unbonused drones ships use missiles, cannons or even lasers... but never railguns for many reasons related to their drawbacks with limited compensation unless truly bonused by ship.

That was a very good video! I have followed your advice and I am using speedtank frigates to get bounties. I would reccomend making some videos which are like gameplay, by this I mean fighting anomalies and other activities.

Hey Captain, How would you compare railguns to cannons for contingent pvp on mid ships? I have invested in missiles and drones, yet I want to skill in more focused weapon for using with cruisers and b.cruisers. As I look to the stats for cannon and railgun stats, they are similar but the difference in explosive damage and the energy usage of railguns. I'm sure you know more than this. Edit: t7 cruisers and battlecruisers

i know this is a little off Topic, but i wonder some things about Anomalies: First, i noticed Scout anomalies are usually T1 and i want to know if their loot scales with the System/Base or if they actually have to be higher in Tier to drop better loot. Secondly, is it true that they only spawn upon killing normal Anomalies or are they independant to that. Thanks!

@cptbenzie going to have to disagree about snub nose rail guns to a point, I believe everyone needs to start with a Merlin II fitted with snubs and get a feel for manual piloting. I’ve learned so much about positioning and adjusting my speed Situationally.

I think it’s important for us to understand the mechanisms of the game and experimentation with the unconventional will create a stronger player base. You have seen me slaying in my Merlin 2 with snub nose on Twitter.

I have one thing good to say about Eve Echoes. There is no possibility of ganking others in high sector space. The gankers may say that it's the gankees fault if they lose their expensive ship, but we all know how evil the gankers really are. It kind of reflects how our economic system works in real life. It's unfettered gaming. ;)

I think he should hold off on doing an Astero vid till they introduce scanning and wormholes to Echoes. The S.O.E line is baisicly designed for that. I also love how the S.O.E ships look.

I still suck at PVE and PVP. watching all these videos and still can't get the hang of it. is there something easier than whatever i'm doing which is apparently wrong? something easy to pilot. I mean cruisers seem easiest maybe just cause they're tougher than the frigates and destroyers. I can do anomalies if they are at least 1 level below my tech/ship level (tech 6 and still using Omen Trainer or Dragoon trainer). The other thing is i usually play healers, so im looking at the remote shield and armor modules and not sure what ships those are good with. Yeah i end up mining a lot.

I know as healer in other MMOs I want to play the remote-repair ships. But those are only really effective in fleets with at least 4 other ships. So I'd find a corp/group of friends to fly with who are interested in group content. Best of luck.

How do you feel about med snubs on a thorax for ratting.. been trying it and its not bad. The high tank allows you to soak up that dmg at 3km and doing almost 500 hot dps. AB to get in range.
