Bro, I subbed to you years ago. Awesome to see you are back. Take it one step at a time, you are moving forward and that’s what counts. Don’t feel the need to rush progress, it will only stress you out and cause you to crash. See you on the next one!

fucking beamed when i saw this in my sub box dude. injury sucks to hear about, just awful timing. but you're right about the 0-100 thing, you gotta look after your body. could be too big a step right now but at some point i think i recommend trying to speak to a professional on the regular if that's a possibility for you.. the absolute least it can do is get you talking to another person semi-regularly who probably isn't gonna be weird or judgemental, which is a pretty big thing, or at least it has been for me. its hard to find someone you can really trust and be open with, but it's definitely not impossible. & you might not even want or need to get to that point anyways. just a thought! looking forward to whatever you post here. :)

As you can read in the comments section, everyone is supporting you. Same here 👍 Good to see you back and as you mentioned: male small steps. I highly recommend you to create a daily routine. Wake up, stretch your arms, back and waist. Then, make your breakfast, wait a few minutes and them male your bed and clean your room. Do this everyday and it will become one routine. Best of luck. PS: take a walk outside as well (it might not be everyday, but, use this for see your surroundings and get used to add an extra workout).

My 2023 began as a sedentary NEET. My first step to getting out of the situation was to start running around March or April. Observing the slow incremental distance, everything was doing great. Until I got injured in November. Thankfully it wasn't anything too serious, but those weeks were terrible. A major setback in a road to recovery can be especially demotivational. I felt as if I wasn't supposed to grow out of my misery, as if that injury was putting me back into my place. After recovery, I went back running. Getting into physical exercise was the spark I needed to change other aspects of my life. It was then easier to eat better, have a healthy sleep schedule, have a better relationship with my family and look for a job. I studied hard during some months for a public servant job (here you have to pass a competitive test to get a public position) and it finally bore fruits. I just started last month in my first job (at 28 years old), and it doesn't pay that much, but at least I can now say I got out of my years as a NEET. Everyone has their own problems. Every one's situation has its particularities. Still, it's possible to change something. Your assessment of cleaning your room and starting to crawl before walking is a great mindset to have. We are here to watch your transformation and cheer for you. Your videos helped me get out of my comfort zone. Now your story will surely encourage many others in their ways.

I'm glad to see you're back. I was really interested in seeing your journey. Just remember that progress might not be linear but you can still be moving forward overall. It's the little steps that turn into big ones down the line. I say this as someone who struggles massively with letting my anxiety hold me back but who has been able to improve on that front. It won't be easy but will be worth it. I believe in you.

Glad to see you back. I'm also struggling with a lack of discipline. Usually I can maintain a good routine for about 10 to 14 days and then I slide back into bad habits again. It's a vicious cycle. I hope that you will be able to get your life together. Maybe a therapist can help you. All the best.

Omg I didn't think you'd be back! I am a hiki too and stumbled upon your channel around 2022 or 2021 (times sure flies fast when you did nothing). Been subscribing to you ever since, using my other account. In the beginning I literally checked on every comment in your first video because there's this one asshole who said he knew you and he said you already gone. Imagine my surprise when I clicked on my subscription tab and found this video. It's a damn relief to see you still here man. I am so glad you are okay. I just want to say that I really admire your courage. You (and another fella who seemed to already deleted his channel, won't mention the name here in case he wanted to disappear forever) actually inspires me to create a channel myself. As I went through the process of starting the channel, I was hit by how nerve racking it is to even admit that we live how we lived. It filled me with so much anxiety and worry to let people know that I am a hiki. And when I did upload something (now sets to private cause it's just so bad, haha), it was as if I could already feel people judging me and saying mean things about me. I already respect you for uploading the videos alone, and I sure as hell have more respect for you after I did an upload myself. Just when I am having a second thought and close to deleting everything, you uploaded! Now I know for sure you've been here the whole time yet still keep your videos up, my respect for you goes up even more. You keep videos showing your face and voice for three years (although, if you're anything like me, three years feel more like three months when you barely do anything, haha) knowing there is always a small chance someone might recognize you. It took a tremendous amount of courage to do that alone. And I am sure there are others like me who have been secretly inspired ever since you decided to bravely share your stories with the world through videos. Thank you for giving a voice to people like us! And I especially thank you for not limiting the comment section. I thought doing something like this will just attract hate and criticism, but the comments are way more encouraging than I thought. I went here from time to time to remind myself that not everyone only has bad things to say about hikikomori. Many are actually quite understanding. That gives me some hope and motivation, even if it's not directed towards me, lol. With that being said, I am so looking forward to seeing more of you, From Neet to Elite. I hope this year will be the year that things change for the better for you (and me, and others like us too). But if you are hit by another roadblock, please bear in mind that there are people like me who appreciate what you already did.

Setbacks are a normal part of life and you are not the only one experiencing them. Your life is far from over and you still have so much time to fix things, don't give up - please. Like you said, take small steps. Maybe walk outside the door of your apartment for 5 meters tomorrow and then go back? Then go 10 meters the next day, and so on. I was a hikikomori like you for 4 to 5 years, so I can completely relate. But the only way you beat this is by facing your fears. If you keep hiding from your fears, they will only get worse. I would advise you to look up exposure therapy and seek professional help. It's extremely hard to get out of a situation like yours without any type of external help. 10 years ago I was rotting away in my self-imposed prison cell and wondered where I would be in 10 years. I was wondering if would still be alive by then. And guess what, I'm still here. I'm better than ever - still struggling, but still here. And I never EVER expected this to be the case. It can be the same for you, all you have to do is NOT give up and keep fighting.

You can do this. You still have a lot of life ahead of you to figure this out. Like you said, take it real slow and don't push yourself too much. Celebrate your small achievements and allow yourself to gradually get comfortable with unfamiliar environments. Stay optimistic, I know you can make it.
