Same. Sooooo I have been using the "what do I feel like today?" method. The only thing I look at is that the workouts I do are roughly the same length each day. For me something between 20-30 min., so usually 25 ish minutes give or take and If I feel like it I throw in a little 10-15 min night routine, especially if I've been sitting a lot. It makes working out for me personally much easier since I focus first and foremost to show up everyday and move my body. I find that this is a very good approach that worked for me rather well to make working out a habit or routine before focusing on a particular plan. It also helped me to set a time for my workout. It helps to make working out a habit, a thing you do every day at the same time for the same length. For me it's usually around 1 p.m. and I also made myself a YT playlist with different workouts that I scroll through the night before to see what sparks some interest. It also helps to find a type of thing you like to do and that is fun. Out of my experience as a non professional just trying to get my butt up every day, it brings absolutely nothing forcing yourself through a strength routine when you like dancing more. The only thing this does is making you dreading the workout and therefore either not finishing it or just saying "I'll do it later" before eventually not doing it at all

Thank you so much for this. I am currently nine months postpartum after my third baby and the weight is so much harder to fall off. I am constantly weighing myself on the scale and getting discouraged. The other day, my daughter took a random picture of me and I was so disgusted. Mind you I have been working out for 2 1/2 months consistently. You said something in the video that really motivated me. “We may not see the difference in the numbers”, but my energy has been different and I do feel more confident so I have to give myself a pat on the back for that. I’ve been struggling with finding the moves too difficult for me. I need to learn to just stick with it even if I have to modify it for a long time. When I try to do squats and lunges my knees hurt so I give up and just go back to cardio. This year I’m just going to keep modifying!

I really enjoyed this video. I have a 4 year old and a 20 month old and lately I’ve felt like I was putting myself last or not even on my list. I agree that weighing myself constantly is depressing especially after you have started to make changes in diet and workout.
