Theres probably gonna be a big wave of people volunteering at around PL45-50, since thats around the minimum PL you can become by unslotting survivors at the endgame. Sure, you could reset your research, but that can only be done 2 times per account *ever*

For some reason I had 3 resets available. A few years ago I reset my research because I wanted to focus on Health instead of Shield, but I still have 2 left.

Love this content. I startd playing a few months ago but only started watching your vids about a month ago. A lot of what you say in your videos went over my head as a new player, so I think it will be nice to see you explain stuff at a power level closer to mine. I had dismissed the animals because you said they were pretty useless in another video, but you are getting a real feel for how leveling up works today and are adjusting your advice accordingly. I appreciate that. When you get closer to PL 40, I look forward to running something with you.

Nice, looking forward to this series. I also have two accounts (thanks to crew pack giving STW free for awhile). I leveled my second account thru Plankerton and kinda stopped. I still log in to it daily and collect free llamas, do that resource gathering thing with heroes, so it’s always getting something. I also finished research on it. My main is in the last zone but haven’t finished it yet. Sometimes I put both accounts in the same mission and my second applies a base and then I make it run in a circle afk.

Back in 2021 I started to play Battle Royal, having only played a few matches one day when Thanos mode was around. Battle Royals weren't really my thing till later in life, with CoD Warzone and Fallout 76 Nuclear Winter pushing the idea. So me and my friend started Fortnite. I previously, on Xbox, had played StW with another friend and was a Founder. I was curious how the game was in 2021 so I hopped onto my Xbox and started playing again in October of 2021. I started BR in June at the beginning of Chapter 2 season 7. I learned I could earn Vbucks from StW so I bought my BR account StW in hopes of getting Vbucks. I was pretty disappointed I couldn't get Vbucks. However I experienced StW as a new player much like you are now. I personally think the best to progress as a new player is Ventures. You do not have to worry about weapons or your survivors, taking off some pressure. You also get Superchargers the earlies possible if you stick to it. You can also advance the main story in Ventures. Basically, Ventures are great for early players, boring and terrible for us Vets. Ps, been watching you for like 2 years now, thank you for the builds

This series could also have a few episodes for new players just starting out. I remember the first time i crafted a legendary weapon and was confused why it was weaker than green guns i was picking up lol. Your advice was on point, until you can level the schematic up and mod the perks just use the weapons you find.

I still remember barely using my own weapons until Plankerton, since they were higher leveled than my own and this way, I had the chance to get to know more weapons. In Plankerton I found a copy of the Huskbuster and knew back then already, that it was damn good. I still have that particular copy in my collection book.

I barely even remember the moment i've started playing STW since it's been pretty long, I just remember I used to struggle a lot because of the leveling system, I didn't know how to build loadouts and storm shield defenses were impossible for me to do alone bc i was dumb and didnt have loadouts like💀and the fact my survivor team was auto-filled instead of properly set since i didnt understand much about it doesn't make it any better.

When I started playing back in whenever season 6c1 was, I eventually ran into the high level players dropping guns, and I soon had these super high level guns. Instead of using only the high level guns, I always used my weakest gun until it broke, and worked my way up. Eventually in like twine peaks that playstyle won’t work, but I think it helped my enjoyment of the game

Excited to watch this. I'm at PL18, and most of the content is geared towards higher level players with experience. So for example, you made a comment about squads and rarity being more important than personality match at this level. My question would be...when does that change? When I started playing stw I was a bit disappointed to see that you almost don't need green schematics, maybe in first 30 minutes of gameplay but then you will get green or blue schematics from the story missions that also would go to trash cuz you will already be able to buy legendary weapons from shop or get them from lamas so I was a bit happy when they made ventures buuuuut I still don't feel 100% satisfied cuz I wanted to feel like a apocalypse survivor struggling to find gear.. obviously I could just do only rare schematics run but how could I know that.. so yea just wanted to point that out and just give food for thought lul
