The med soil canister, drill and paver literally changed my life in this game. Its so easy to get to the core and build a ramp to the layers and then roads to the resource deposits.

26:28 Another way to know is if you look at the big circle around the bar that shows if you are going up or down, (26:21 here you can see the circle clearly)If the circle is compleatly blue then the storage is full but if is not all blue then the storage is not full. (The circle fulls up as you mine soil and depleats as you use the soil)

26:23 the blue ring around your drill marker also indicates your soil level so you don't have to watch the canisters, same for using the terrain tool.

When you send the resources off on the "Mass Production Protocol" make sure that you dont have an extra resource on the top of the canister or you will lose that resource and wont be given credits

I know you might not read this and you might already know this, but I'm playing right now and mining up titanite. The titanite isn't being depleted even though the auto miner over time says that the vein is getting depleted. I've even done this with a hematite, and even though the auto miner gets resources, they stay there so you can mine them up yourself once the auto miner is done.

31:48 I just discovered that you can put a storage sensor on a resource canister and make it monitor itself to trigger over and over again, set the sensor to "empty or not empty" and let one item just cycle in and out. make it trigger a button repeater too and you have yourself a switch for the soil centrifuge :D

For extracting compound you can use a two button clock for printers it's too fast but the extractor can't be stopped so it works and activates it instant after it has finished.

I think you should use a storage sensor, put it on your soil centrifuge to detect the level of soil it's container it have and connect the sensor trigger on that same soil centrifuge. and configure the storage sensor to: if the soil centrifuge's container is full, then trigger the soil centrifuge.

The storage deals from the caves hold max 192 Aluminum, i did the maths, but with one more up top it will hold 198, i mean not inside the storage deals, but up top the slot

i used a storage sensor and a medium storage. set the storage sensor to empty or not empty. then once the compound is removed from the storage it will energize the centrifuge again.

You say the soil-scrap process isn't worth it?! I farm scrap! It's how I make solar arrays! Even before the automation update! Just make clay, smelt it, make drill mods, and scrap it! Like that, you can get recourses FAST! ESPECIALLY with the automation update

I used a rover with a drill and the new storage canister to collect laterite then had a large platform type c with three smelters and another canister to collect the aluminum took less than an hour to collect, smelt and send all 200 off

I got all my compound through the soil centrifuge, got a large rover and put a bunch of containers for the raw aluminum stuff and drove down and through the world i got 5 full containers in my first hour and the through them on a double smelter large platform. Aluminum easy to get it was copper copper was a b***ch. i couldn’t find copper on sylvia for anything so i used the small printer to print seats then put seats into large shredder traded for raw copper then smelt it... didn’t use a single automation drill. Got all the skins in about 12 hrs of game play.

Hey Z! Try using 2 small canisters with your automated soil centrifuge. I think that keeps you from having to use the wind turbine clock. Edit: I have not tested yet so I don’t know if it will automatically start the soil centrifuge each time

I love your videos and mis z .. you’re not using the new update correctly you should put one of those machines extractor resources for each one and then you sit up in your base so every time that you come back the animation work for you
