In case you didn't know, you can just pick up and then set down the extractors on the same place and it'll mine up the resources again infinitely.

PRO TIP: instead of taking the printed auto extractor that takes up half a large shuttle storage, bring the 4 resources required to print the auto extractor and print it on another planet. EDIT: and do the same thing for other tier 4 items such as platforms. Just take the necessary resources to the other planet and print them there.

You can put an auto arm on a platform and move the platform so it works like hoover. So if that platform has storage it will go there. You can also filter with this.

Yeah, the thing with not being able to pull out your terrain tool is a bug with multi-player. I have seen it happen to others in multi-player games. When you travel to another planet, if you have that problem, you just need to die & re-spawn to fix it. It's annoying, but at least it's an easy fix.

Please find the second crashed ship in SM survival! It is an easter egg island tile located in the North-East corner of every map! Think of the location of the starting ship an imagine that as the bottom left of the map, just follow the left wall up to the top left of the map. Anybody can find it in their own world! It also happens to tie in with the hidden audio files that are located in the game files. Also, if you try to search up about it like I did, then you probably wont find much because not too many people know about it yet, same as the way nobody gave that room in the warehouse (with the little table) a second thought... there is a deeper story than what people think, and im just trying to spread that information.

You can apparently use the same deposit multiple times if you shift the Extractor over. Even if it's a small amount it'll still fill the bar

dude you can make a fully automatic by putting a small storage thing with a storage sensor so that when the soil centrifuge is done it will put them on the small storage faster than the canister can collect it and when the small storage is emty it will be ready to start again i tried it and it works like a charm

First day of the PS4 update I got the large canister, auto arm, and auto extractor

z1 in astroneer i was trying to get to my base on calidor to activate the core but then lost it and walked around the planet for a really long tie but couldn't find my base because it wasn't on north or south pole and had explosive powder on me which was kinda hard to get cause I just started and I have a rocket with me for oxygen but I've gone around the whole planet/moon multiple times and cant find my base should I just die? what do u suggest?

because i forgot that the north and south pole were on the left and right when I landed originally and forgot to make beacon because I just started playing and don't rely know how to play yet. i only had small shuttle but should I just kill myself and go back to base or is there a way to locate my base?
