Awesome coverage gents. Godzilla Minus 1 was one of the best movies I saw in my lifetime. Highly recommend checking it out. I purchased Batman Adventures 12 cgc 9.8 for $1860. Been wanting it for a long time and hoping I bought it at the right time.

I'm interested to see what ligation comes from this or if anything happens at all. Because, CGC helped facilitate the scam. Remember they're the supposed experts. The scammer sent the books 100's of times and many times the same book and they never noticed it??? The grade were off enough that people on Instagram and KZbin could figure out. But, somehow CGC couldn't figure it out with the books right in front of them? Yeah, I wonder if they'll actually sue, because they'll come out looking like fools. If they do.

CGC isn’t doing much at all the fluff don’t try to blow it out of proportion. Ebay is the one who’s been taking charge of all this and CGC is kinda like oh well if you bought it through eBay wouldn’t let Ebay take care of it. Plus you have to go through their scanning, but as of today, I’m sure you already know many more books have been discovered, especially the books that were not sold three private sales. Fantastic four number two trimmed a . 8.0 was discovered yesterday. It was in a regular blue label case keeping it thorough broke the story on that one.

People are just assuming because CGC put out a statement that everything is going to be just fine now. But, as you've already stated eBay has already issued refunds. CGC has made nothing, but statements. And, released a list. And, I agree that list isn't the end of it. It's just the beginning.

Hello. As usual, your video is exciting. The only comics that I enjoyed seeing were the Spider-man issues. Of which purchased when they first sold at the markets and 7-11s. Still have them too! #28 is still VF, #50 is very well read and very poor, #121 is probably a 9.0 at least. I also still have Iron Fist #14 probably at least a 9.0. I plan to have cleaned and pressed and graded. I have way too many other issues waiting in line to send out. Good video. Have a good day!

I am curious about the sales data on the Life With Archie #41, First US appearance of GODZILLA (and Mothra). Although unofficial Godzilla’s first comic book appearance was in this issue. (First official appearance was in the 1977 Marvel comic.)

Well I can see how easy it is to pop open that cgc case. Seems like they are not as good as the cgcs ones. Hell I dropped two cgcs on tile floor and both are fucked now I got to get em re slabed. But my cbcs ones they didn't get fucked off anywhere as bad. Just being honest.

Cgc will not be able to compensate people for the complete sale of the book until they sue the scammer and win a judgment until that time don't expect a dime coming from cgc

CGC will get sued for grossly mis-grading mega-dollar books as more and more collectors examine what they have. It was on CGC to ensure their processes should not be so easy to scam. All they had to do was to inspect every book coming in for reholder requests AND use tamper-evident cases. They did neither of these things over the course of 20+ years.

I have sent a book in for a reholder- it was a mega key, FF #112 and I was told that they would HAVE TO re-grade it and it may not be the same grade- it even says that on their website. I do not believe that CGC will ADMIT they didn't check the books- they say they do (even though we know they didnt becasue of the scam) but legally, they covered themselves and I believe they will NOT pay a dime to anyone, other than re-holder fees being dismissed on those collectors who were burned. Its going to come down to a CLASS ACTION Lawsuit form the hundred of customers against the Seller- and if a judgement or settlement is reach, years later may see some sort of monitary compensation. CGC will not pay these people back (but just rehold and regrad for free). @@DocReasonable

Nobody with any brains would be selling the big keys right now with prices in the tank. Unless your hand is forced now is NOT the time to sell. Having said that, everyone's bottom line is different. Depending on when you purchased and for how much..could be a big win even with prices where they are right now.

Any books that cost you a percentage of FMV to be graded and slabbed should be re graded and re-cased in an upgraded slab for free!!!. Anything else would be completely unacceptable from a CGC s customers point of view.

Compensating its customers is the perfect response by CGC. To protect its customers even when it has no part in their loss, shows how much CGC values the certification it gives and how much it appreciates those who rely upon it.

No it’s not the perfect way. Lol 1. This is massively more widespread, they aren’t going to compensate until they’re insolvent. 2. It’s not a new physical countermeasure 3. Even if they release a new case that doesn’t resolve the majority of the existing slabs on the market being compromised. Please think about what you say before saying it.

Everyone’s praising CGC, but are they going to be able to make everyone whole who was affected? And are they going to give everyone all the money they lost if they bought a Schrödinger comic? Maybe some but at the rate we’re finding out about even more books that were affected. I don’t think they’ll be able to afford it. The old holders are going to be worth way less.
