Starting to Plan a Ground Based Solar Array DIY

I am looking to install a ground based solar array in my backyard. I have a rectangular space of about 13‘ x 14‘. It faces south.
I don’t wanna put solar panels on my roof because I have seen two people say that their roof leaked. A friend of mine had to redo his entire roof, including the plywood because it was leaking from his solar panels.
I’m not trying to offset 100% of my electricity usage. I’m just trying to offset some of it so I’m OK if I don’t have like 30 solar panels. I’m OK with three.
But obviously, I’ve never done anything like this before. And I know there are a lot of different solar panels and a lot of different racks available. I know I could screw the racks into the ground, but I think I just want to weigh them down.
And then I also want to run the electrical up through the soffit and into the panel.
I know there are a lot of videos on KZbin so I’m gonna check out those, but if you have any adviceplease let me know!
