Makes more sense as an origin rather than a civic IMO, and if it came to vanilla (say as a Custodian update for Apocalypse) there'd need to be a cap on firing it. Maybe once every 5 years until you hit the requirements for taking the Colossus AP, then it becomes a regular Colossus.

That's no moon! Bro literally started with a downgraded Katzen attack moon with an energy weapon. He basically got the Tarkin from Star Wars. Fyi the Tarkin was used to crack Aeten II to get materials for Tie Phantom cloaking fields that also cloaked a whole Executor and a large production space station.

Oooo, there's an interesting Colossus idea: It cracks the planet in such a way that it exposes the core, turning it into a Mineral/Alloy deposit Oh wait. Just saw, it does make a Mineral source, nice ^^

It might be balanced if the instant (600 to 6000?) Alloys from cracking was removed, which I removed myself from mod files, goes insane with astro-mining drones and arc-furnaces (civic normally cant be used with gestalts')

Reminds me of period when players used science ship from gate event to destroy enemy systems by spawning interdimensional horror there. I was able to protect myself from two genocidal empires on two separate occasions with that one(the absolute insane amounts of genocidal empires is probably why I stopped playing the game).
