Kat, as someone also with many complex rare & devastating diseases I have seen first hand how God can make impossible possible & bring healing when there's is no hope. I've been resuscitated multiple times Inc on operating table repeatedly over 8hr period there's so much I'd love to tell you, having bn paralyzed from neck down too. But if people only realised that God is all around, easy to see him & connect with him, when you see him in all things...ive had so many miraculous events witnessed by drs & yet though people see for themselves, most people would rather believe it's just mind over matter or I must have been lying faking or other stupid ideas rather than believe in a creator! We've all been so lied to all our lives. When you understand that Christ took upon himself every Sin, Pain, Sickness disease & see just how awesome He designed everything (more you learn, more you want to know & more you understand how truly we are loved btw, it's The Most Fascinating journey)! Please listen to healing scriptures which the bible the Word is frequency, which is light, which is what God is made from & so are we & all things were created from! So listening to the word not only increases yr faith, but cos there's Supernatural Power in it, God also sends his angels to Perform His word. This is why it's Nothing to do with organized religion, but more about Faith, which is a gift in itself, it comes through Hearing God's word & scripture was inspired through God through His Holy Spirit! Listening to worship music & healing scriptures or even just scriptures about God's promises, of which you'll find plenty on YT, you'll start to see change anyway, but I pray you receive healing & understand just how much you're loved. Having something of beauty which is relaxing to focus on eg macrame, I'm finding too, is so important. Hope this finds you Hun & I know I've gone through what I have, to help! & encourage others, out of love for humanity. So my prayer for you is that you receive this message of love hope faith & healing. If you want to receive jesus Christ as your Lord & saviour speak to Him, tell him that you Repent of all sins & ask for his forgiveness, then ask him to receive you into his family, as you give your life to Him, with thanksgiving, ask that He fills you with his holy spirit & cleanses you completely, ask him to heal you & to teach you revelation of his word. Ask him that your testimony of healing will bring lots people into relationship with Christ, king of kings! Who Is God! 🙏❤

Right, I have seen many pictures of what macrame looked like the the 70's. But I imagine working with the jute was not as pleasant as the macrame cords we have today since that material is quite harsh...

I have been really called to take on macrame as my next creative adventure. I make jewelry and wire wrapped jewelry. However I like to break up my creative projects so I am not burnt out on one. My question for you: for me as a beginner just trying to figure out if I like macrame, what do I use to hang my dowels on without having to invest in a clothing rack. Something that won't break my bank but make it easy to do a wall hanging project.

Hi Luiza, when I first started I would use a piece of string tied to the piece of drift wood and then I would hang the string on a clothing hanger which I would then hang on my curtain rod on one of the windows where I could work in front of it. Maybe that could work for you as well...?

I have never made a plant hanger myself but since I see those tutorials everywhere I would say it probably is safe. But if you are concerned you can get some sturdier cord and just use the macrame technique to make the plant hanger, it doesn't need to specifically be macrame cord.
