I really appreciated the very first part, holding the two needles together! I am forever in your debt.

This was very well done. Your first movement to rotate the 2nd DPN is the key to keeping the cast on round tidy and untwisted. Thanks for this!

Helpful. I’m using two short circulars. It’s how I knit socks as well. These are so much fun. I’m working on the new Advent Calendar using your Prism Sock in Rhubarb with a natural for some balls. They are beautiful. Christmas gifts for my grandsons teachers. ❤️

Thank you for doing this separately. It's such a helpful video to easily find instead of hunting for it on your other podcast. Thanks again.

Thanks so much for doing this as a separate video. I watched it last week when it was a part of your podcast. I knew I needed a refresher so this is perfect. Arne's method makes my head hurt. You have done a great public service!

Ha! Great! There are so many techniques to do everything... just need to find the one that works for you.

Thanks so much for this. Starting by knitting from two needles makes it so much less fiddly! I also put a marker after the first stitch on the first needle so I don’t have to think about where the beginning of the round is located. I’m doing my balls with fingering weight yarn on size 1 needles so it is even more of a game changer than if I was doing them on the larger needles.

Size 1!!!! Way to up the fiddliness to start with!

I saw this during the episode, n wished I had a quick refresher like this when the balls advent started lol didn’t matter tho, it’s still fiddley as hell for me (also I’m left handed knitting clockwise))💕 thank you so much for the calm straight forward clear tutorial! It really helps sort out what’s what!
@FleeceHarmonyPodcast4 жыл бұрын
Still a bit fiddly - I agree, but better. Did you keep going with the balls tho?
@TrickyNight244 жыл бұрын
I am and I do continue trying to do them lol each ball takes me about 10 hours ...so, I’m on ball 2.5 right now lol
