As a startup founder, you have to wear many hats, but I notice that you handle a lot of the marketing tasks like SEO, content creation, and writing. I wanted to ask you how you stay up to date. Hey Amigo! Thanks for the comment! Yes the mousepad is a nice touch, I got it over 2 years ago, I think from Vistaprint or so. To be honest, for digital marketing, I don’t take new courses or read new books related to marketing tactics and I personally think in digital marketing - the process and whole idea remains the same. The concepts are always the same: targeting, keyword, cpc, cpm, funnels, re-targeting etc - the only thing that I’ve seen changed over time is just new platforms and maybe targeting. For SEO, I’m not really a pro at that, I just use simple SEO knowledge of creating content that adds more value than what’s already out there and is well optimised with longtail keywords (I also use tools like UberSuggests), I don’t stay up to date with the SEO updates and changes (maybe I should but I’m more into digital marketing than SEO) Regarding copywriting, this comes natural to me as I’ve always had multiple blogs, so writing cohesive content comes natural to me. For this, I also don’t take new courses or books for update (maybe I should) As a founder, the courses or books I read are always around management, growth and leadership because these are things I’m having to learn now that I have multiple team members who I’m accountable for. Hey Amigo! The bike is from a brand called SMRLO. The battery life is quite good, I charge it for about 2 hours or so and able to use it for few days before needing to recharge. The bike is about £1,600 You can google “SMRLO bike” and will find websites to buy it from. Cheers

Hey Amigo, thanks for the question. So, because of the industry the startup is in - I’m unable to run paid ads (the social media platforms thinks we are a gambling platform but we just provide stats and data, still in the process of speaking to a human to explain it to them but no luck so far) So, I’m acquiring users organically through various means, SEO, social, quora, Reddit etc. The video campaign I worked on in this video is going to be used potentially for KZbin and maybe Quora. In one of my episodes, I shared how I acquire customers (even before we launched) not sure what the episode is but it’s on my channel. Hope this helps amigo 🙏

@@lifeofnejohi Amigo, I’ve been studying digital marketing with Brazilians, they are pretty good at it, they run ads for actual gambling companies, a lot of people are affiliated to these companies as well, and they do the ads in a way that only a human can understand what the ads is about. Quick example: “hi this is helping me so much on my favorite game” then showing something that anyone can understand what’s about but the robot , then take the lead to a page with a button that doesn’t have much so that the Facebook bot doesn’t see the actual page, then take them to the amigos page. Try to find some digital marketing specialist from Brazil on upwork, maybe tou didn’t understand what I was trying to say 😂. But they will. Hey Amigo. Yes and No. No, because most social media platforms see footy amigo as a “gambling platform” even though it’s not. And to run paid ads, we need to get a gambling license according to them which makes no sense since we are not actually a gambling platform. We provide data and stats and people use them to make informed trading / betting decisions. (Or just use the stats for knowledge) I’ve tried to reach out to the platforms but we all know these companies don’t have any customer support, they use bots to auto approve or deny ads. So, I’ve been using organic ways to grow the startup. And I said Yes, because we are able to do some paid marketing but not on the major platforms like Facebook, KZbin, Instagram etc All that being said - the difficulties to run paid ads has made me adopt organic growth hacks and methods. It’s sad because I’m a paid marketing guy, I live and breath paid ads but with footy amigo - I’m having to grow organically and low-key enjoying the process

Hey Amigo! Thanks for the comment. I don’t ride my bike to some locations due to distance. If the co-working space location is more than 1 hour from me, I rather take the tube. I only take the bike when I’m going to places less than 30mins away. Hope this answers your question 😃🙏

Yes Amigo. I use Figma to do rough designs but my UX designer uses my ugly rough designs as guide to finalise and create the pixel perfect designs. I’m not a pro UI designer, I just give feedback on what’s done or complete some flows/screens from time to time
