You have 2 days to prepare. Day one: Make a bottle, sword and pickaxe, upgrade the pickaxe. Make a backpack a book is not needed. Night one: gather food and resources. Day two try to have 25 - 30 meat. Have 500 wood and 275 stone. Hope this helps, goodluck

My strategy is to get amethyst first then make a bridge to winter and make a farm too, then open a new tab go to your farm get stone spear, backpack, water bottle with gold shovel and 15 fires, and enough materials for diamond pick axe, then go to amethyst get 1, kill a dragon, then claim quests, then you put the orbs in 2 chests that you made before, you also have had to block off the dragons, this takes me about 5 hours to get fully maxed out

this video didn't really teach us how you can get them. Here's a guide for you guys. *WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:* *do not collect from chests or boxes. Also, if you want to wait for starter pack, quit thinking because that also would fail you. You cannot destroy an amethyst building to complete the mission. *you need to get everything you need in 3 days or less, because traversing the arctic takes a day and a half, and getting to amethyst would take max. half a day. *dragons have the same speed as you if you wield a weapon, or else they're slower than you *once you have dragon gear, a lot of douchebags would want to kill you to get a shot at free dragon sword/helmet, so get teaming fast once you get back (or not if you are a true god at the game and could multitask play, then just team with yourself, and if you could do multiboxing, then WHY THE FUCK DO YOU NEED TO LOOK AT THIS? YOU COULD GET DRAGON GEAR WITH YOUR EYES CLOSED) *GAMEPLAY* speed is everything if you want to get dragon gear. Chrono quests turn this game into a time attack game. Get moving quick! Play at daytime, get as far as possible from night. This makes the difference in your 1st day. start, mine 10 wood, craft wood pick, then find a resource rich place and mine everything in there. Get stone sword, then stone pick. Kill mobs for food. Kill 3 spiders and 5 wolves, then craft bag. Mine gold after that. 1 day should pass by the time you get bag and start crafting gold tools. get shovel after gold tools, then go to the beach, dig 25 sand, craft bottle. After bottle you can easily hunt without worrying about dehydrating to death. *HINT:* Try to find places near water especially for your first day. *Always craft tools (bag, pick, sword) at night for your 1st and 2nd day. *remember: keep at least 1 campfire. It could make the difference between the quick, and the failed. Here's where it gets interesting. Kill 4 wolves and 2 spiders. Craft book. For hats, you could choose either: Explorer's hat (harder to maneuver in winter, but faster) or Coat (easier in winter, but slower) Check recipes on them because I'm too lazy to type every single recipe. If you chose explorers hat, your minimum fire count should be 5 fires, if you drop below, mine arctic trees. Kill polar bears or foxes for meat. Ditch the fur If you chose coat, you only need 1 fire to get into the arctic, and you could simply craft to fit in the fires. I prefer coat because I also get much more meat so I don't need to kite arctic mobs with no cold resistance. However, if you're slow you could easily run out of time with coat, so this is really your choice. Along the way, get at least 80 stone and 50 gold. when you have that then mine 20 diamonds for diamond pick. (for less crowded servers bring a crafting table) after you get diamond pick, go to the cave. Get 6-8 walls. Don't equip sword or you die. Run right through dragons but don't stay on top of them. If you run through them they'll aggro, miss you, and un-aggro if done right. If they chase you use a wall to ward them off. 4 days should have passed when you have done this, but it's possible that you could do it much faster. Mine amethyst. You should have 4-7 walls left. Use the remaining walls to trap a dragon, then kill it. Be sure to watch the wall health. if you destroy a wall, YOU WILL DIE *HINT ROUND 2:* dig snow whenever possible. You have to fill your bottle multiple times. *When attacking dragons, make sure your sword cooldown is over. You could switch to pick or book if something unexpected happens and be able to outrun the dragon. You have 2 days to kill a dragon. Good luck! *Get at least 120 amethyst. That's the minimum for amethyst sword + helmet, which is needed for dragon gear, and 580 diamonds (yes 580) is required for dragon gear from gold sword & no helmet. *HOW TO SURVIVE AFTER DRAGON QUEST* congrats! you've got dragon gear now! Everybody must think you're SOOOOOOOOOOO pro now! right? WRONG! As far as to my knowledge, the better equipment you have, the more noobs you are going to attract that want to team with you, and the more brawlers would want to gang up and kill you. Get ready to face 1v2s, 1v3s, and even 1v5s. There are 2 ways to prevent getting rekt by other people. 1: avoid their base and kill any person with a tag, no matter what. the farther the teamers are from their base, the less combat advantage they have. Find and kill single people, and try crafting spiked walls and bandages in your spare time. Beware, however, that if you're inexperienced in combat and only good at fighting NPC mobs, then you could potentially be killed by someone with gold/diamond weapons with stone helmet, if they are better than you at the game. Here's how to combat being ganged up, using strat. 1. *During 1v2s:* NEVER approach them directly. take off dragon sword, equip chapka, make sure your temperature doesn't drop below 35%. If they lose guard on you (e.g unequip weapon to catch up) block one of them with a spiked wall and kill the other one with dragon sword+helmet. Run until you regen back to full HP, then kill the other one. Another way is to make them friendly fire, by approaching them on the sides. One of them cannot attack you since you have much more protection and they would kill their teammate as long as you stay on top of him. *During 1v3s* Your temperature bar is everything. If they don't have cap & scarf, you could bait them to arctic, you'll be way ahead of them, and then let them chase you, once you see signs of hypothermia on the enemy team, attack the one that's cold, and kill it. The other 2 WILL attack you, so get your spikes ready. If you see one of them put a fire, that's a big red flag that they are out of temperature. Destroy their fire with hammer, or just attack them head on, equipping helmet during combat inside the fire, this would kill the other 2. If one of them has cap and scarf, that one person would walk faster into your area, so spike him and kill him with dragon sword. If two of them have cap and scarf, fight them in the arctic like a 1v2. You could use mobs to ward them off. If all 3 have cap and scarf, well, get as many mobs' attention as possible to hopefully get away. Your chances of survival are slim if they still stay together after multiple mobs and spikes. If that's the case just kamikaze attack 2 of them and ditch your weapon & helmet so the 3rd can't get it. Then kill the 3rd once you respawn, by buying starter pack. (gold spikes do massive damage) *During 1vCLANs* You're screwed if you don't get help asap. Spike them and RUN, and FIND HELP. Tell them that a clan is attacking you for no reason. They may think it's unfair and intervene. If you could gather 2-3 people with gold weapons, you might have a chance. The second strategy (I like this one the most, because it's savage) is to guard the amethyst. (and no not building a base there) try to remove high-level players by killing them once they're in the dragon den. If a dragon chases them, that's the time to strike. If they take any damage from dragons, FINISH HIM OFF. Do this until nobody has cap and scarf. If you're high leveled and they are low level, you have a much better chance to survive against 3 people with stone spear and no hat than 3 people with diamond helmet and amethyst sword. Teaming is also easy once everyone high-level is gone. You could team with pros that could potentially kill you without the high-level wipeout. I did this today as "Super Mario" on WA4 server and then when I was off there were only like 15 people on the server, and to get top 5 you only need a measly 1k. On more crowded servers it's definitely harder to remove everyone with a potential way to kill you. These are my 2 ways. I know the 2nd one is dick-ish but if you want to get over 100k and survive for hours on end, this is the way to go.
