@@kelajuan_ the one thing they didn’t super screw up is their animated stuff. I think this will be fine. Filoni is usually more involved with the animation projects than the live action. There were a few boring episodes in season 7 and bad batch, but 80 percent of it was decent or great.

I’m going to absolutely love watching how Qui Gon Jinn observed and learned from his masters teachings, becoming the man that we all loved and wanted more of after watching the Phantom Menace. After never seeing him again, I think he painted a picture of a much different Jedi that we never got again. It’s good to have him back.

I always felt that the Prequels could've done more with Dooku as a character..Really delved into the reasons for him leaving the Jedi and his eventual fall to the Dark side. Hopefully this series will accomplish that!

One of the greatest mistakes the prequels made is they did not have dooku in episode 1. They should have had him as a member of the Jedi council, set him up as a wise member who offered Obi-Wan some advice perhaps after Qui-Gon said he was ready for the trials. That way when we got to episode two and Padme said that she thought it was count dooku who had tried to kill her it makes it where the audience does question that.

From this we can conclude that A) Jesus is the Son of God and can predict the future or make it happen, B) The world leaders/nations/governments etc have been conspiring together for the last 3000+ years going back to Babylon and before, C) History as we know it is fake. You don't really need to speculate once you start a relationship with God. Can't get a response from God? Fasting can help increase your perception and prayer can help initiate events. God will ignore you if your prayer does not align with His purpose (James 4:3) or if you are approaching Him when "unclean" (Isaiah 1:15, Isaiah 59:2, Micah 3:4). Stop eating food sacrificed to idols (McDonald's, Wendy's etc) stop glorifying yourself on social media or making other images of yourself (Second Commandment), stop gossiping about other people, stop watching obscene content etc. Have a blessed day!

I think he’s one of the best characters, never being fully corrupted by the dark side but still embracing it to take down something that is corrupt, the republic. There’s that really cool story about him and his best friend as padawans which involves a Sith holocron. I’d really like to see more of his origin and it seems like we’re getting that here.

This looks great, and is possibly the best idea for a show they've got going, its got the most potential, its the most sustainable and I think also has the best groundwork, the animation works brilliantly and in many cases is preferably to live action as its far easier for the live shows to look bad or goofy in terms of acting, coreography or even general aesthetics, no need to worry about certain outfits looking like cosplay and such. Just remember that Dooku practically told Obi-Wan the identity of the other Sith Lord in their very first interaction. I first saw Ahsoka in the Mandalorian and had no idea who she was. After finishing season 2, I watched Clone Wars over more than a year, and then Rebels. She's probably become my favourite Star Wars character after seeing her full arc, and I love that she is getting more attention for those who haven't made the long journey through Clone Wars and Rebels. It's not "Tales from", it's "Tales of", specifically Tales of the Jedi, which I'm pretty sure is unrelated to the "Tales from" series.

I finished TCW last month and the final arc (which I personally believe is majorly flawless) made it instantly become my favorite animated show of all time. Just seeing what I assume is the funeral scene from ROTS in animated form gave me chills, and I’m so stoked for this when it comes out!! The animation looks gorgeous

@@whotookaegir of course, but Filoni *knows* what it was before, he’s read them. The fact the title is coming back at all is more than some other projects have gotten. Haven’t seen a Bane or Plagueis title yet but thanks to Filoni even just mentioning them in TCW it’ll allow him to bring them in, if not the same, similar.

I would love to see the dichotomy between qui gon and dooku. Two jedi who believed the order had lost its way, but dealt with it differently.

Yes! I highly recommend the books. They are both quite interesting and revealing about Count Dooku (and why he’s called Count) and where Qui-Gon disagreed with the neutrality of the Jedi Council in doing whatever the Republic told them to do. Very good stuff. Highly recommend.

I love the similarities between Anakin and Dooku just this trailer implies - Dooku, just like Anakin, was more than fine to use force to achieve victory - in fact Dooku's line to Qui-Gon about achieving victory directly relates to Anakin and his obsession with victory, as shown in Obi-Wan Kenobi series, the Clone Wars during his speech with Tarkin, and AotC. And like Dooku with Savage, Anakin is a harsh teacher with Ahsoka - not to the point of cruelty, but still he whips her into fighting shape to such a point that she is extremely adept at deflecting blaster bolts 360 degrees around her later in the Clone Wars, which is simply incredible.

Yeah but one difference is Anakin deeply loved Ahsoka like a sister of sorts but Dooku felt nothing for Savage but at best contempt because of his slow learning.

Absolutely. This is the Gray Jedi line. Qui-Gon being the grandfather of the Gray Jedi culminating in Luke and Ahsoka carrying the line. They are why the Jedi survived at all.
