Definitely Not John Cena Show it to your child, it’s a good way to show that it isn’t always black and white. It’s a cartoon so that will immediately get their attention, and chances are that they’ll not understand how dark it really is. But that’s not everyone, I remember watching Waxer die and it was pretty sad for me, he was one of my favorites. But it’s still a good way. Since when have they ever treated the prequels like they don't exist? They made it explicitly clear that Clone Wars was canon from the very beginning of the takeover, making Clone Wars and both trilogies the new foundation.

Um... when the Mouse House bought Star Wars, the Clone Wars was cancelled and a lot of stuff was released that leaned on Original Trilogy nostalgia. Rebels, Force Awakens, Rogue One. The first Battlefront reboot (2015) only featured original trilogy content. For a few years, it legit looked like the prequels were painted to be the red headed stepchild of the Star Wars family.

@@wolfiemcfox7080 I remember watching behind the scenes of The Force Awakens and one particular person said "The prequels will be taking a backseat in our new movies" also when they were choreographing the new lightsaber duels they stated how the prequel fights were like a dance and that the new duels would be more like the original duels, so disregarding the prequels even more.
