Disney and Lucasfilm, I am a single father and have been disgusted with they way you have been handling your customers when it comes to star wars. I don't appreciate the fact that members of Lucasfilm have been saying because someone is white they will never experience racism. I am a white male but I have a very dark skin tone and many people have assumed over the years I am native American and have treated me poorly and said racist things. When I try to tell these people I am not native they tend not to believe me, I have also had someone of another race tell that all white people look the same to them. My kids who are native have been treated poorly by other natives due to their skin tone being lighter. Everyone has been treated poorly at some point, not giving a reaction and feeding the anger/hate is called being an adult. So to watch adults within your company act like children and call others racist while saying racist things themselves is very disappointing, I though you where a professional corporation but when you support a racist while firing someone who has been bullied online for their opinion. This to me says that you support racism and you do not support others opinions. I really hope it's just rumor that Gina has been fired, I was starting to come back to star wars with the mandalorian and I was debating getting Disney +. If you fired Gina though that will be a no for me, I have not spent money on star wars since the last Jedi came out, and before that I spent 1000s of dollars(3 kids as well as myself) on merch but here is the reason I stopped. After the last Jedi I left social media due to your staff saying any complaint is just sexism or racism, while it was not the reason I didn't care for it. There is only one reason that matters at this point and yes it has to with Luke but also Fin and Poe as well as males in general, the message that movie send to my daughter is that she should listen to me because men have nothing of value to add. You make silly claims that you make strong female characters but all you did was knock down the male characters even the ones you made, fin takes a step back to being the the beginning of the force awakens where at the end he faced fear and grew as a character, Poe went from being one of the most reliable in the resistance (give the missing map to find Luke) to hot shot pilot that doesn't fallow orders. Just so at every turn a women comes along just to come in and tell them how it is. As a single father this is harmful messages you are sending to children of single father families which by the way is a minority in its self. Disney you have stopped receiving money from me as I have been actively boycotting star wars, other people I know have Disney plus which how I have seen the mandalorian but I can't purchase this if these are the messages you intend on sending my children. Maybe your staff should be watching MLK speeches as well as he did say "judge people by their character not the color of their skin". You staff at Lucas film look like a bunch children, and as an adult and a parent I will say this to them two wrongs don't make a right, I did not attack any of you when you attacked me and made it okay to bully me an others like me for simply not liking you movie. As you own most programing there is no way for me completely boycott you, so this is me saying if I find anymore children's programs with these messages within them I will take legal action against you company, clean up your act and Lucasfilm owes a lot of apologies to the star wars fan base. And as for "toxic fandom" people are people everywhere you go, some good some bad which are you and your staff Lucasfilm?
