Yes! Huyang warmed up to Ezra considerably once he learned that Ezra had been trained by one of his own former students. We've seen that Huyang puts stock in the master-apprentice lineage. Sabine confirming that Caleb/Kanan was Ezra's master reassures Huyang that Ezra is not just some wannabe playing with things he doesn't really understand, but instead that his training has its ultimate origin in the old Jedi Order, and in Huyang himself.

I just noticed this time that Huyang pulls out that part like the one from Kanen's lightsaber when he learns he was Ezra's master. I have seen videos explaining how apprentices tend to build lightsabers similar to their master's. It was said they do it to honor their master. But I feel like it's something deeper than that. That it's like by doing so they carry a piece of their master with them though their lightsaber, a constant reminder of all the lessons they learned. I honestly love all the spiritual aspects that seem to come up around lightsaber hilts, their construction, their shape, and what their configuration means.

Having been around for so long, Huyang puts a lot of importance on the Jedi Master/Apprentice lineage. Once he knew who Ezra's Master was, in fact one of Huyang's own students, Huyang warms up considerably. Thus he goes from annoyed to pleased, especially when Ezra proves that he really does know what he's doing - using skills passed down from Huyang himself via Kanan.

Which is what leads me to believe he picked it up before heading to Kanan. I think the crystal Ezra uses here is the one on his belt - there was one on there earlier

This scene reminded me so much of my dad. When he said "the relationship between a master and an apprentice is as challenging as it is meaningful". We weren't always on the same page, but I learned so much for him and I loved him dearly. He passed away this summer at 67 from a heart attack. Just like Kanan died to soon for Ezra, I feel like my dad passed away before he had time to teach me everything I needed to know. And when Ezra uses the same emitter as Kanan, I've been doing more stuff like my dad and using some of his tools.

Ezra's new lightsaber is ultimately awesome and it has a blue blade just like his first one he uses during seasons 1 and 2 of the rebels series. I hope that the Hasbro toy and games company can make Ezra's lightsaber from the Ahsoka series as a toy for Hasbro Lightsaber Forge in stores for both Walmart and Target.

I love building Lightsabers it is my favorite hobby in star wars. If anyone in our real world wants to be a jedi, you need to show your friends and family how capable to pretend you have the force. Plus during your training and your missions, if you lose a lightsaber or if it gets destroyed you either buy or build another. Plus it's like Master Obi-Wan Kenobi said to Anakin Skywalker during Episode 2 Attack of the Clones "This weapon is your life". Also when i was a child i have some natural talent wielding a lightsaber. Both single and dual wield. Double Bladed like the Jedi Temple Guards, not so much.

To answer Ezra's question, Huyang is over 25,000 years old. He helped invent the lightsaber. Basically, as the first Jedi walked out of the first Jedi Temple the first thing they did was find a large blue box on the steps outside, open it, and activate Huyang.

It could either be a spare Huyang had, since we have seen multiple Lightsabers displayed around. Or, when Ahsoka returned to malacore (I think that's its name) she could have retrieved Ezras old Blaster saber, and he could have used the crystal from that. Or, finally, he could have just found another on the planet he is on. Since it is well known that Kyber crystals can be found on almost every planet. Just some have alot more of them.

I think that it means that everything that is on that T6 is what's left of what he had on The Crucible. Which tells me that he was able to get into hiding with a majority of the items that he used to teach younglings to construct lightsabers during the time of the Great Purge.

Kanan would have been near the end of the younglings Hyuang would have taught, so Hyuang probably kept that piece since kids are more prone to losing things and wanted to make sure Kanan could rebuild his lightsaber fully.

I sincerly doubt he only had 2 of those emitter but maybe he only had 2 left and after the purge he never got the chance of restoking His inventory i Do believe that this ship is the one hé got to replace the crucible and His lightsaber shop is kind of a bit smaller than His original but Who knows anyway Ezra New lightsaber definitly Honor kanan but i personnaly don't like that emitter

Both kanan jarrus & anakin skywalker were everything a jedi should be if you think about it anakin and kanan had similarities in their lives they were both hurt by the flames they both had a blue lightsaber and they were strong in the force

Unless Huyang was exaggerating I think he mentioned that he knew Yoda when he was a padawan so that would make him at least 900 years old.
