a perfect end to the series. i know we were all going into it expecting tragedy or more answers to unnecessary questions, but the episode bucked all expectations of traditional star wars storytelling to give us one of the most rewarding and satisfying finales in recent memory. i noted to my friends when the episode finished that the entire batch survived, but it felt entirely earned with everything they'd gone through. at this point, they do all deserve to rest and live their lives, and i'm so glad that the death of hemlock and project necromancer on tantiss essentially means no one is after the clones anymore. they're completely free for once. all in all, it left me wanting more of the universe and of the story of other characters, but i don't for a single second feel like i need more of the story of the bad batch. as far as i'm concerned, this chapter is over, and i'm thoroughly satisfied where it ended. although now i really want to see more of rebel pilot omega in the future, especially if she gets to meet back up with hera !! (so long as no one lets her anywhere NEAR doctor aphra !!!)

I liked Omega from the start of the show but by the end she is honestly among my favourite star wars characters. Seeing how she grew over the series was awesome and despite not seeing the years in between the fade to black and final scene I can imagine seeing her growing up and having an actual life beyond fighting the empire before finally choosing to get back in and fight for the rebellion. Its beautiful. I adore this show so much.

When Hemlock awakened the four operatives, and one of them was Wrecker-sized... I was sure they were Clones of our Clones; The Bad Bad Batch. And this made me even more worried that the original operative was Tech.

Havnt seen anyone in the comments say it so I will. Rest in peace, Scorch. It was so shocking to see a member of Delta Squad die, and I’ve seen a LOT of people upset about it.

This was the first Star Wars series that wasn't a mini series like Kenobi that I've followed as it came out from start to finish and hooooo boy to say I'm an emotional wreck now that it's over is an understatement. I got so attached to these characters, Alex I have to thank you for saying "It's not goodbye, it's just see you later" because that thought is really comforting to me right now. I just need Omega to come back to Pabu after the Empire falls after the battle of Jakku and reunite with her brothers - including Echo!

Yeah man, this Finale was solid. There's a few lingering things left open ended, but none of it was overly crucial to the main plot of the show, it's more just stuff I want as a fan. And I can't believe it, they pulled a Guardains Vol. 3! Not everyone escaped unscathed, but they all made it out! That's amazing! I would love to see any follow-up stories with these characters because there's like a 15 year time jump when Omega leaves to join the Rebellion (I'm guessing that means around 3 BBY or later). The Finale did everything it needed to, I'm satisfied, and I'm happy to move on to another story, but I'll be waiting with baited breath for any reference or cameo relating to this series. The folks at Lucasfilm Animation crushed it again, and it should go without saying that I'm excited for what else they have in store for us.

totally agree with you about being surprised that Rex's team didn't show, esp given the title. and yeah, I'm glad when they don't answer everything. It took away from Solo, when they explained every detail about Han. Sometimes the negative space in art adds to what you see.

you know seeing that ending with Omega joining with the Rebellion, it gives me the feelings that we may end up getting a "Tales of the Rebellion" series, with a set of episodes focused on Omega's time with them. perhaps the first episode being right after that ending scene, reuniting with hera and being inducted into the rebellion, and the last episode seeing her at the battle of Endor, perhaps even so far as participating in the battle of Jaku.

I was hoping we’d see the first real stormtroopers by the end of the show but seeing shock trooper variants of the TK-troopers was still really cool. And we got to see the first ISD-1 flanked by Venators which was so sick!

The facing off between the Bad Batch and their available counterparts was awesome. Like the Power Rangers against the Dark Rangers and the substitute Lobster monster to fill out the team. The twirling of the vibro blade esque weapons like the clone assassins in the Revenge of the Sith Ps2 game, and the Jedi in The Acolyte. The younger clones rocking the punk frog esque shirts. Brotherhood as a theme. Loved the shot of the newly unveiled Star destroyer flanked by their predecessor, avoided a Rogue One crash

I hope we get a story someday where someone stumbles across the abandoned Mt Tantiss. It's an abandoned mad scientist lab that also has a man-made sith temple at the core. What kind of crazy monsters are going to mutate in there??? There are so many story opportunities

Idk who will read this but as someone who was 8 when the clone wars came out and growing old with this show. At the end it made me feel like we were omega throughout the show . As she grows old and hunter tells her she can always come back and they will be there was like the show and all the memories of the clones we had as kids . It felt like all those story’s we played with clones as kids or all the times we just wanted to be a bad ass clone. And this felt like all of that coming together one last time. I remember sitting at my grandmas house watching and waiting for the clone wars and seeing this felt like a true end to the kids who loved the clones even more than the clone wars. I felt like this was the best ending we could have asked for.
