The laser cannon that is used to try and suppress the Zilo Beast in its holding pen is the same kind used on the tanks to bring it down back in its first appearance. Why they thought one would work when several when several were needed to even weaken the creature is beyond me.

We also see that the tank the Zillo Beast is in has a liquid that, when drained, seems to make it more active. It could be that the liquid has a sedative agent absorbed by the Beast, and the one gun is considered enough to subdue it while it was being affected by the liquid

When they first appeared in CW I just wrote them off as the Ninja Turtles of Star Wars. The episodes were good, but I thought they were a bit silly. When they announced the show, I felt a little bummed cause there were so many other characters I'd rather see a series of. Never would have thought Bad Batch would become one of my favorite Star Wars stories. I even remember thinking Omega was annoying. So surprised how this all turned out.
@Compucles6 ай бұрын
What's wrong with being the Ninja Turtles of Star Wars? Come to think of it, that's a really good description for them, aside from there being 5 main members instead of 4. Omega is then April.
@Blinkptx6 ай бұрын
@Compucles I first made that comparison before Echo and Omega came around, but the original four almost fit to a tee. Lol It's not the ninja turtle thing I had an issue with. Something about them just seemed a little too cartoonish in the first episodes they appeared in. Stupid considering it's a cartoon. Lol I got over it pretty quick, but wasn't left wanting more of them when the show was announced. All opinions have changed drastically after spending more time with them.

I felt like the CX clones were "succesfull" versions/inspirations of the (original four) bad batchers. One has a helmet similar to Tech, the one we see most often was basically a sniper like Crosshair and seemed focused on him, there's also a bigger CX clone, similar to Wrecker, and Hunter uses his blade(s) just like the one with the yellow swords.

my take: The CX clones from the finale were clones of Force 99, the bad batch. They even have some of their same traits. The "brute" uses the same tactic as wretcher when the bad batch appeared for the first time, using a large metal piece as a shield and running towards the enemies. Imho this was gonna be expanded in further episodes/ seasons but had to be cut due to time constraints

I'm not sure if I'd call it a direct reference, but the final confrontation with Hemlock on the high bridge over Tantiss felt *very* similar to the final scene with Hask, Zay, and Iden Versio in Battlefront 2's DLC. The bad guy holds the daughter of the good guy at gunpoint, she fights back, and then the good guy shoots the bad guy multiple times in the chest before they fall down a pit.
