It is true we saw two different Wampas in TESB? I was reading the one that kill the Taun Taun was a male and the one who attack Luke inside the cave was a female. Maybe that's why they look different.

Same 1970s rubber suit though, you can see the arm join on it in the initial attack and then his arm gets cut off in the cave. So neither male nor female but some fella dressed as a yeti.
