Gina did NOT say anything on the same level as Pedro did. He did things like comparing half of voters to German National Socialists of WWII (I call them what they were, not the acronym no one knows the meaning of anymore) and slave owning Confederates. Gina pointed out that the National Socialists of Germany turned neighbor against neighbor, leading them to turn over their fellow human beings, and that we should NOT allow people in power to do the same to us and our neighbors. She was calling for understanding and coming together despite differences, the opposite of what Pedro was doing. She also refused to bow down and place her pronouns in her bio as people were demanding she do, so much so that she joked with Beep/Boop as her pronouns when they wouldn't stop. That was the great sin she did and that Disney demanded she sit through an online lecture for where she would get yelled at and not be allowed to defend herself. She even offered to write her own apology letter, but they demanded she sign the one they wrote. She also dared to question covid and the jabs, which they hated her for. They used the historical reference to claim she was antisemitic, which was BS, because of the other things. They knew they could incite larger hatred of her over it, which perfectly proved her point.

Throw in Mark Hamill saying “Go Force Yourself” to over half of the country and fandom as well, and turning into an unhinged political puppet these past couple of years. Pedro and Hamill, being 2 of the biggest faces of the franchise, trashing and belittling half of the fandom who opposes them politically hurt Star Wars big time. Sean Astin, aka Samwise from LOTR, for example supported Kamala in the Presidential campaign and election, but he never came out and called the opposing side Nazi’s, terrorists, scum, and horrible names like Hamill and Pedro have. That’s perfectly fine. But Hamill and Pedro decided to do the opposite, and millions of people don’t want anything to do with them, their characters, or their movies anymore. They fired and threw Gina under the bus for a ton less, and from what I’ve heard, they’ve done the same to Ray Park and Jim Cummings for the false accusations that their ex-wives made about them. Jim Cummings, aka Hondo, is also a staunch Trump supporter, and hasn’t been asked to do anything since Rebels, so about 2018. I doubt we’ll see Hondo again. Temuera aka Jango and Boba, also called them out for how poorly The Book of Boba was written, and now they’ve ghosted Boba in just about everything, and it looks like they’ve basically shelved him. Lucasfilm isn’t Lucasfilm anymore. There aren’t anymore talented writers there. It’s just a group of activists and petty and unhinged SJW’s who care more about agenda driven checklists, feminism, and modern day politics than storytelling.

Most of that trilogy is near perfect except I always hated the cloning of Luke. The idea of cloning force sensitives really cheapens the force and training to be a great wielder. I honestly stop reading the last command just before the final act. 😆👎

The Rule of Three is one of the best podcasts I've been hearing lately. I know Star Wars news is slow lately because there isn't really anything good to cover. However -- just a thought -- with all the lore the three of you know, why not cover a piece of lore and discuss it, pick it apart, and maybe do a theory on the lore, maybe a what if..., or something like that?

Like Theory, Star Wars has helped me through some major trauma. I just wish he weren't so hung up on such a small part of the universe pre Disney when so much of the games and books were amazing. He doesn't even know the greatness of Kotor... Oh and the fact he's only kind of watched some of the original Indiana Jones films and isn't interested?
