I was right into sci-fi, anime and comic books growing up in the 90's (hated team sports, didn't participate in gym at all), got beat with skateboards on the daily by bigger kids for it until i freaked out and ambushed them with a broom handle i wrapped with hockey tape one day (i had watched the old Walking Tall movie from 1973 with my dad one weekend and it just clicked, i was like "Oh what's gonna happen? I'm already getting beaten every day. The only possible outcome is they get hurt too"). Flew out from behind a hedge as they were rolling by and beat 3 of them till they were crying and screaming with big egged out bruises all over them. The other 2 ran for their parents (i was gone before anyone showed up). It wasn't nearly as funny for them as when it was happening to me. The worst of them got weeks worth of beatings in all of about 3 minutes. I carried that through junior high as a walking stick to school and kept it in my locker until a counselor found out and told my mom what happened. They tried to put me on medication but it deadened my emotions and put me into a full blown suicidal depression after a few days so i went off it and never took anything like that again. Mentally i'm fine now though. Sometimes actions just need consequences¯\_(ツ)_/¯ When i hear all this PC "can't we all just get along?" "Why can't you be nice?" toxic positivity BS my immediate reaction is to think "F*ck you, i got your safe space hugbox right here *grabs crotch suggestively* FAFO. Mess with bull, get these horns.

I remember. Seems like that all ended back around 2010-2011 or so, with a heavy media push towards radical political polarization, almost exclusively aimed at one group of people from another. React to videos or stories of humans just having the greatest moment of their lives happen due to something Star Wars related. Examples: A child meeting Vader at Disneyland, or an adult being overjoyed meeting Mark Hamill for the first time. Stuff like that. And then talk about how Star Wars, and other geekdom/nerdom things changed their own lives, and then maybe put their money together and send that person a cool memorabilia item or something.

First, I wanted to say how much I appreciate your channel and everything you do to discuss things going on with Star Wars, as well as your various videos whether they be what-if's, various in-depth discussions, or just light-hearted stuff. I've watched your channel for years and never been disappointed. With that in mind, I wanted to say THANK YOU. While watching this video (KZbin Responds...), you put out the offer for Theory Sabers. At first, I told myself, "Don't do it, the missus will KILL YOU if she finds out." And then I realized something...why not buy a saber, put it away, and then arrange for it to be a gift for Christmas? That way I eliminate the problem of getting what I want for Christmas (my wife and son never willingly purchase any of my Nerd stuff: Trek, Wars, MCU, Yamato, etc) and I don't get the Glare of Doom from my wife when I open up a box with a lightsaber. Honestly, the discount really was the final push that helped me do the deed, so again, Thank you! Just so I didn't get a glare for one of the pricier versions, I went ahead and bought the Prodigal Son one you featured. I appreciate the removal of the control box on the side to better aid in dueling, and it will look very cool when I display it. Looking forward to many more videos in the future, especially Vader, and May the Force Be With You, Always.

I used to love Star Wars Explained but the channel became difficult to watch. The final straw for me was him apologizing to his wife for mansplaining a Star Wars topic in one of his videos. It was weird and just cringey. They’re always so positive about everything going on with Star Wars, but let’s get real… It’s not going well. I used to be a fan of SWE until a few years back when I started actually looking into them properly and how they conduct themselves. Its disgusting! They are horrible, manipulative bullies and everyone they've strung along to defend them are like the bullies cronies. I was heavily bullied throughout my school years too and I recognise a LOT of those traits in Alex and Mollie and they've proved that themselves recently. They have the absolute audacity to lie and say you are participating in a targeted harassment campaign when they LITERALLY were the poster channel for such a campaign trying to steal away the livelihoods of people out of pure jealousy.
