Don’t forget some of the interesting force abilities from Jedi: Survivor. Dagan Gera used a lot in combat, such as the force illusions and a phantom limb ability. I would also like to mention the force interrogation ability used by Kylo Ren in Force Awakens and Battlefront 2 campaign. I would also like to add that in recent canon, even bleeding a kyber crystal seems to be a dark side force ability. One needs to pour the darkness into the crystal and corrupt it through the force. The force is still widely unknown, so yeah the abilities in the force are seemingly limitless both dark and light.

FINISH THE STORY!! I wish the clone wars series did a dooku vs yoda episode. Like yoda Travels alone to dooku’s home world trying to first talk to dooku in an effort to win back his former apprentice after sneaking in while dooku was asleep and then just waiting by his bed side tell he awoke. Dooku startled at first grabs his lightsaber and jumps out of bed before saying “if you wanted me dead you would of already killed me. What is this? A surrender? Or opening negotiations to come to terms with my ideals for the order.” I think this would put more depth into both yoda and dooku. Dooku could destroy sidious’s plans and out him but only if yoda agrees with his terms not with just the republic but the Jedi order itself. Dooku doesn’t budge on his terms, nothing yoda tells him gets through because dooku want it his way. Dooku then just saids “it seems our negotiations have come to an end my old friend. What a shame we could of ended this war and destroyed the sith forever but now our fates are sealed”. Dooku blasts at bolt of lighting using one hand at yoda while activating his saber in the other…. You pick up the story now!!! What happens next.

The main difference between nightsister magic and sith magic as I understand it is nightsister magic is inherently grey in nature and they generally use spells in forms of worship to the dead and is more used spiritually, whereas sith magic is inherently much darker and more evil There are also lots more uses and types of sith alchemy and it is used for a larger variety of purposes

Didn't we see the Sith in the Tales of the Jedi comics use alchemy and such? Those comics came out before The Clone Wars series. Some of them even use amulets and other magical objects to enhance or focus their powers.

Your video made me realize a couple things that I guess I noticed, but never really put together consciously - Vader, a man who can't breathe, favors using a force power that stops people from breathing. It's like he's sharing an agony that he's all too familiar with. Given what we know about Anakin and the level of Vader's hate, that seems to be something deeply psychological, and rather sinister. And the other, when you said Vader wasn't as hyperfocused on OB1 like he was the Separatists, it never dawned on me that his eyes were never yellow and red until he was burning and presumably using the dark side to stay alive via his pain, suffering and hate. Meaning that while Vader rose a level 9 per Nick Gilliard, he didn't have access to that full power vs OB1, as he wasn't fully immersed in the dark side. After Padme and the revelation that OB1 went after him, on top of everything he'd done (remember, the crying contemplation was after he slaughtered all the Seps), it makes sense that his mind would be racing and he wouldn't be able to put his full focus into killing his former master, and helps explain away some of OB1's plot armor. Well done, my dude! Good video, too!!

Good observations. However remember that even before becoming Vader, Anakin had an affinity for choking people. With the force or with his bare hands. And that still could be a psychological thing of him wanting people to feel how he felt: suffocated. From being born into slavery having his childhood and dreams choked away, to being in the Jedi order and having them figuratively choke the emotion out of him. Keeping him away from his loved ones. To being under palpatine and having to follow his every command now that palpatine effectively owned him. Naturally, now people have to suffer as he has suffered

@@karlanthony210 True, but in the real world, Vader obviously came prior to Anakin, which is the way I meant it. It was cool seeing Anakin do that as a foreshadow to what he would become, but yea, canonically you're right - I just meant the real world thought process of having a man on a respirator stopping others from breathing. Either way, this is why I love SW lol.

I had a SW book long ago, before the prequels. It was some kind of Almanac of Star Wars Equipment or something rather. The one entry I still remember after all these years was it talked about Vader's body and his robotic appendages. It said that is the reason he could never use force lightning. Can't recall the details if it was because the flesh has to channel the force, or because the lightning would cause a feedback in his own mechanics. If you think about it, the force would generate from the tip of his flesh appendage which would be his wrist, elbow, or higher. So he would actually be electrocuting his own robotics. Don't know if that is what they were hinting at. Not sure if this changed after the EU era. But at the same time, I thought Luke had used force lighting or some version of it in the Yuuzhan Vong series. I can't remember if they made him use his human hand or both, which would contradict that Almanac. Damn, I need to read all those again. Good times.

There definitely a grey side to the Force, which I hope will be explored more with Anakin as the Father and balance of the force. Would be cool to see him interacting with Luke and teaching him to access the Dark Side without him falling victim to it.

I've always wanted to see more Force using during lightsabers battles. If you think about it the biggest Force using duel of the movies was the Yoda vs Palpatine duel. In other cases we got a simple and slow Force using, maybe one or two Force Push, Force Jump, Sith Lightning, etc ... On the other hand in the games we got corrert Force Using. Not a popular opinion but I don't think so Starkiller was too overpowered Force user. He just have a strong connection with the Force and great abilities which he used in combats. I wish we"ll can see the intermediate implementation in movies and series in the future. When the Jedi and the Sith use more Force abilities, more spectacular abilities

Using the Force to bend one's visual appearance with their surroundings is also pretty nifty, and both Jedi and Sith were capable of it during The Old Republic era. Makes me wonder if it could also be used to alter one's appearance not as a means to turn invisible to others but take on the appearance of another. But then I'm reminded of that time Palpatine did just that when he was trying to manipulate Ezra, portraying himself in a more innocent light before his true form was revealed. So, it's great in a sense the skill was not completely forgotten by that age.

Number 13: "Dark Side Force Phantom" is quite interesting. Even though "the sequel trilogy" is quite controversial; Luke Skywalker basically used a Jedi version of it to "astral project himself" TO the salt moon of Crait from the Jedi Island Temple across the galaxy🤔 (ultimately causing his physical body's demise)🤔 If one thinks about THAT ability & what happened on the 1st Death Star; is THAT what Obi Wan Kenobi ACTUALLY DID?🤔 "The Star Wars Theory hive-mind" could run rampant with these possibilities within the story🤓

To me, there’s no “Gray” Jedi, just some who disagree with how their religion “Jedi” conduct themselves. Qui-Gon was still a Jedi. He just saw error with certain political aspects and didn’t progress further but he’s still a Jedi Master. Plo Koon’s force lightning isn’t the same as Sith’s either. They made sure to make strong differentiations between the two.

Dark Side "Force Rage"🤔 I think even Darth Sidious/Palpatine realized the level at which Darth Vader (once Anakin gave into his fears & rage; becoming Vader) was mentioned to be one of the things he feared about his apprentice...& that it could ultimately overpower even Palps, himself🤔 I figure that the sadistic glee he felt; knowing his "young apprentice" could NEVER AGAIN be able to use to eventually overpower him (because Vader was so badly injured on Mustafar) was a tool he used to keep Vader on a leash; although Vader could still use it...to SOME extent. ...from a certain point-of-view😉

In Legends at least think thats how Starkiller had an originally learned Force Lightning. I recon while we never saw or heard Vader do it or could think its been said he can do it too an others. Else how did Galen learn to do it the Sith way. Wonder if some abilities like Drain we ever seen.

Caedus' powers in legends were insane. What's interesting is jacen learning all these different cultures force affinities- then using them to gain and secure power, essentially making any power he learned "sith". The battle meditation, the ability to see futures and outcomes. I mean even Luke and Ben going to learn them all in the following series didn't really touch on all of the ways jacen used the force.

I just rewatch ep3. I just noticed & now understand why sith doesn’t just die or hard to kill or keep coming back. Sith at their core fear death and they refuse to die using the force. Jedi however are willing to let go Cus they have afterlife… as force ghost. So it makes sense that palpatine came back. Palpaine is a very powerful sith that knows all darth plaguis taught him.

That would’ve added a lot to the story with Rey. Instead of “somehow palpatine returned.” They could have shown a flashback of the fall and shown his life force leaving him during the fall and entering someone who worked in that area. Show how he corrupted and twisted the body with the dark side of the force making it eventually look like palpatine once more.

A lot of the abilities we have seen the Nightsisters use are similar to Sith Alchemy. The Sith temple where Bane got his parasite armor, had teno-beasts that powerful female Sith used. Emperor Vitiate came up with up with Darkside powers and ritual to consume planets. If they bring the Sith Species into the movies, use a similar model to that of MCU Red Skull.
