I believe the blue aliens you've shown, played by the Lucas family, are not Chis but Panteran which Chis are commonly mistaken for. The Panterans have the blue skin but lack the distinct red eyes of the Chis. They are also prevalently considered lesser beings, with the exception of Thrawn, due to them being wild/outer space beings and would not have been directly in the republic and later empire controlled Coruscant. Thrawn was important to the Empire, and very good at his job, but at the end of the day, I don’t think Vader found him all that essential. Also this is Vader we’re talking about. This guy goes through officers like pringles.

I believe Palpatine gave Vader explicit orders not to kill Thrawn or Tarkin, they’re too important in the Empire and in the hierarchy they’re all pretty much the same rank and serve equally important tasks. Tarkin governs the Empire, Thrawn leads it’s forces, and Vader is the enforcer of Palpatine which enables the Emperor to focus on his research.

Well, the way Vader and Tarkin talked to each other regarding Obi Wan etc in New Hope, it was obvious Tarkin knew he was Anakin, and Vader was cool with it. So I'd imagine if Vader and Thrawn had a conversation about it, the scenario would be similar--but of course, Thrawn would be smart enough to lay out how it doesn't really matter to him, and he won't dwell on it any further.

Vader and Thrawn are like 2 sides of an opposing coin. One swings first, asks questions later, no matter how much collateral damage said swings do. The other asks questions first in hopes to avoid having to swing (or minimize the number of swings needed) in order to keep the collateral to a minimum. The mission was all about Cortosis Ore being embeded into the Clone Trooper Armor. Anakin believed it to be a separatist plot to infiltrate the republic disguising droids as clones. Thrawn also stole a Shield Generator to replicate for the Chiss Acendancy. Then the Imperial side led to the discovery of the Grysk Hegemony looking to invade move into Empire space. Man, that makes sense. It would be amazing to watch that in live action. I haven't read the books, so when I first heard the idea of Thrawn asking Great Mothers to somehow bring "a vader" to weaken Ahsoka's emotional resilience seemed too random, but I didn't know he had that huge connection to Anakin like that. So if the book never fully confirmed he knew he was Anakin, if he did that in the Ahsoka show for knowing Anakin trained her, that would be confirmed through inference. The only reason I find this a bit hard to happen is that they would have to put a flashback of Thrawn and Anakin working together and again suggesting or confirming Thrawn knew Anakin was Vader. Because people who do not know they have this story could think it's very random. It has to be well cooked, specially because to me Vader is a "sacred" character that must ALWAYS be presented as great possible, because his image must be preserve from fatigue. So I consider risky, but I think it's possible to do it the right way.

What if we see a re-casted Baylon in the finale? The “power” he’s looking for could be Abeloth or a spin of her. She could restore Baylon’s youth allowing for a re-cast. I would like to see a scene between Thrawn and Obi-Wan, because I feel like their personalities are very similar. Obi-Wan was always the strategist to Anakin's tactician, like Thrawn was in Alliances. I always thought that was part of the reason Anakin attached himself to Thrawn so quickly - he recognized a similarity to Obi-Wan. Also, the fact that Obi-Wan was just as much of a master to Ahsoka as Anakin was - as seen over and over again in the Clone Wars and the Ahsoka book - I think that Thrawn will underestimate this side of her (think she's all Anakin) and this will give her an advantage in the end.

If thrawn and anakin met up right before the empire, then Ahsoka was gone by then and mostly flew under the radar, especially during order 66. Plus, anakin, and other generals like him, such as Baylan, Kenobi, Vos, etc. held more of the spotlight, especially during the clone wars. I’d say that Vos and Baylan were probably on the same level, like A tier Jedi, while Kenobi, Anakin, Yoda, Mace etc. were S tier, at least when it came to being known by others outside of the Jedi order.

Dude! Vader's helmet is SO well polished in the opening scene of ROTJ. When he is walking with Palpatine, look how sharply it shines compared to the first 2 films. Its says 1 of 2 things...A. He has not been in battle in a desperate search for Luke and the Falcon. Has been on the ship for the entire timeframe or basically off planet. B. He polished up like a military officer for a superior. He knew the emperor was arriving. What is the deal with Sabine and Ezra's conversation about what happened after he left? It seems like Filoni does not care or is not good with consistency. Sabine tells Ezra that some think the Emperor is dead? Sabine was trained by Ahsoka. Ahsoka talked with Luke and either of them talked about Vader being redeemed and saving Luke from the Emperor by throwing him down the shaft? Why wouldn't they? And why wouldn't Sabine be told by Ahsoka that the Emperor is dead? Why would everyone in the Galaxy not believe the Emperor is dead? Man that would be such an intresting dynamic to see on screen. The fact vader could kill thrawn in a milisecond but wouldn't because of the respect he has for him and for how valuable his brain is.
