I am working on my first kit with the perforated pink lines and I LOVE it. I like not having to cut the plastic and tape it off. It folds back neatly, also so no need for cover minders! The sections are the perfect size for me and it’s so neat and tidy this way. I feel like I can see it much better than if it’s sectioned with washi or covered with release paper.

Hi Lisette! 6 paintings is a great number for black Friday! I've not done well with my stash count this last month, because I keep adding to it. However....I think I am going to have to make an exception for black Friday if there are any I have to have because it's so great of an opportunity to buy discounted kits. We will see what happens though. I have plenty to work on really. I liked that new Dakota as well, but did not buy. Also totally agree on the perforated cover. The lines were not necessary to add in my opinion

The Dakota has sold out - so that one is a no-go for me on BF unfortunately. However I think there will be some awesome releases on BF/Cyber Monday...Exciting!!!

yes, those lines on the perforated cover ruin the sneak peaks for me as well! I'm very good with the option to use the perforation but why the hell make it red? But I honestly did not love the new toolkit as well, so maybe I'm not part of the targeted group anymore 🤷‍♀️

Hoi Lisette. Alvast gefeliciteerd met je 4-jarige mijlpaal! Als ik kan kijk ik volgende week zondag. Ik moet zeggen dat ik wel gek ben op die geperforeerde lijnen in de covers. Geeft mij een houvast als ik aan het werk ben. Ik ben nu met Kleo Trio van DAC bezig. Ik ben nu in Nederland, daar laat ik deze painting ook. Donderdag vlieg ik weer naar huis. Daar ben ik bezig met Ramadan Mubarak, ook van DAC. Verder heb ik 4 nieuwe paintings in mijn koffers zitten. Dus helemaal een blij ei! 😊

My win was to actually getting a new job and buying diamond paintings! My stash is small as I used to keep it under 10, mainly for financial reasons but also because having too many projects stress me, but I got into a new job and I was able to make some purchases! But I decided now that I was able to make some purchases, to expand it to 20, and I don't plan to buy any until BF, have 1 WIP and a few I'm sure I'll be able to complete since theya re small, so I might also have around 6 in my stash self imposed allowance!

Congrats on 4 years! I'm still iffy on the perforated covers. I usually cut an entire row off then use release papers on that row. So it does make that part easier. But the sizes aren't normally what I would use.

Happy birthday to your channel 🎉. Love your honesty and I must admit that I'm also not the biggest fan of the perforated cover by DAC 😅. I'm affected by the issue with the glue with a multitude of kits and that's not good but I'll work with it as I spent quite some money on the kits 🤐. I'm really looking forward to your live 😊

I remove the plastic cover. It is annoying and release papers work better for me. I agree with you the old way was preferable. I am glad the cover minders went away and I am neutral about the pen. I prefer placing with tweezers. Congrats on 4 yrs. Amazing. I think this year I am going to skip BF. I historically purchase 8-15 but I am still suffering from boredom and burnout. 😂

I am going to see how many is and what the sales are going to look like because I am close to finishing my project I wanted to finish before I bought anymore we will see. I haven’t done enough DAC kits yet. Just started in February. I am working on one now and just took the perforated top sheet off and put release papers on. As for Black Friday….I have no idea if there are sales, discounts????I hear a lot about it tho. Hope you pick 6 kits you absolutely love😊

🎉4 years 🎉 I am having a win holding my stash to 4. I’m excited to do my first event with Ronda at Dip In Time #SparkleAllTheWay2024 no new start & no finish required. I am using the community to encourage me to finish my large project. My strategy for Black Friday is to skip this year. I’ve left DAC. I’m in 100% agreement about their customer service.

Congrats on the four years. I don't like the perforations either. The current DAC that I am working on has them. I do a row of release paper and ignore the perforation part. Hopefully other dp companies don't follow. I'm sure it cost more too which will be passed on to the buyer. Have a wonderful week.

My win this week is that I paid off a credit card. I’ve been working towards buying a house in the fall of next year and ever it’s exciting to see my hard work slowly paying off. For Black Friday, I have a budget set aside and am excited to participate. I like the perforated cover but could do without the pink lines. I don’t find them helpful and it does take away from the beauty of the canvas.

Im working on Calling Me Softly by Dimitra Milan from Diamond art club. I've never been so scared of running out of drills. I'm a little more than half way done and I have less than 20 of 4 different colors. I also don't like the perforated plastic or the pink lines.

The only issue I have with the perforated cover is when it doesn’t tear properly on the lines. Otherwise I use washi and cut it with a seam ripper and use cover papers. I travel with my diamond paintings every weekend, so I use nonstick parchment paper baking squares from the dollar store for the areas that are partially dotted. Ps. Unboxings are my least favorite videos.

I don't like it. The plastic doesn't lie flat. I take it off and use release papers. I also am not ordering from them because of the pink lines. The two Christmas ones I wanted were both rounds.
