I have 13 diamond paintings on the way. I am not proud of this, but I ordered most of them in a desire to try out different small shops. This will bring my WIPS and stash up to 70. I love the paintings and I have a plan to work on them. I will not buy any more. I plan to participate is events throughout the year, but I have all the paintings that I need for this!!! I feel very content with what I have and I won’t be buying anymore. I am following along with my own stash count Sunday and I will check in with you here each month…maybe each week…and hold myself accountable!!!

Oh Lisette you are hilarious. I am UK and I can confirm that 2025 started with a WOW 🤣 My chosen painting was Rainbow Dragon from Dreamer Designs, disappointing drills but lovely colours and defiantly fun to work on.

Great video as always. I love your stash count sundays because it helps me with my accountability. My wow for January is finishing up my only WIP from December and my first Margaret Morales painting. I had a busy December and after the first of January I really got my grove back on this canvas which I adore! It’s a lot of blues, hydrangea flowers and a lady in a pretty Kimono : Ajisai one of my largest paintings so far - and a top favorite. ❤ I will display it in my craft room. I don’t have any of my paintings framed or displayed so this one is a special exception!

Hoi Lisette. Goed begin van het nieuwe jaar. Ik ben heel benieuwd naar je nieuwe project dus zal zeker kijken volgende week. Ik heb zelf 2 diamond paintings gekocht deze week bij Dreamer Design. De eersten van deze firma. Beiden niet zo groot, 60x60. Eentje ronde drills, de andere vierkant. En dat maakt mijn stash op 5 in Nederland! 😊 En zoals gezegd, hier heb ik er 7 plus 1 WIP. Started diamond painting in 2021. Completed only 2 diamond painting. Have 3 WIP. Currently 90% done with one of the WIP. My stash is currently 2 + 3 WIP ± 1 coming in mail. So a total of 6 for my stash! My new year goal is to finish current WIP and also try other crafts. Definitely not rushing is good advice! Helps enjoy this craft a lot more. :)

You gave me an idea to make a yearly journal that I will do in a 3 ring binder, will do some junk journaling and reflections of the works I do. Maybe a before and after pic. Some nice papers and thoughts. Of course, a budget page and a stash page. I do one project at a time, so it will be easy to keep track of. Thanks for the push to get going😂

Personally I find listening to an audio book while I diamond paint is a great way to enjoy my favourite hobbies!! You can’t do it with everything you read (well I can’t) but it’s perfect when it’s a nice cosy read or a romance. Hopefully this helps you too!! I love watching your videos!!

Hi Sara - yes, I love that too. I love audio books, but I also want to read books - the process of sitting down with a cup of coffee in a comfy chair and a book is so relaxing for me and I just don't do that as often anymore - I want to bring that back.

Well, the big reason I want to finish my WiP is storage. I researched storage when I started dp a year ago and chose one Elizabeth Ward tray. Sure, I could work directly from bags until the WiP is done but it keeps me motivated to finish one before breaking open the next one 😂 I already got anxious and started to kit up the painting I thought I was going to do next. That was mistake because I’ve chosen a different one for the ticket to ride event. Have a wonderful start to your new year road trip😊 In Kansas ours came in with a roaring blizzard 🥶 in the past 8 hours we’ve had rain, thunder, lightning ⛈️ freezing rain 🌧️ and blizzard conditions. All tucked in and safely diamond painting here ❤

WIPs = 5 Stash = 298 On the way = 7 TOTAL = 310 😬 I'd like to end 2025 with less than 300 (REASONABLE goals are the keys to success). I'm not opposed to destashing and have done a LOT of that over the past two months, but I've put that on hold for the moment. Current Wins = I haven't bought anything this year so far. I did add some new releases to my wishlist, but resisted the urge to buy.

Mijn kleine 'win' sinds de start van 2025 is dat ik niks heb gekocht tijdens de dagen dat DAC 25% korting had. Er was wel 1 beschikbaar die ik wel leuk vind, maar wist geen 2e en liet het daarom zitten. Zodra Christmas raccoon klaar is ga ik Breakfast buddies beginnen waar ik echt niet mee kan wachten. Geen idee waarom, mogelijk de kalme kleuren erin. Daarnaast heb ik nog een kleine die nog altijd af moet en 1 met vrijwel alleen maar groene kleuren (wolf) die ik in gedeeltes (per vak) af wil maken. Misschien na elke finish eerst 1 vak van die wolf afmaken. En ik heb 1 van mijn oudste klaargelegd (Llamicorn, =partial) die ik mogelijk met plank eronder op de bank kan maken. Ga ik uitproberen 😅. Afijn, genoeg te doen 😂 maar heb er zin in! ❤

How many wips are ideal do you think? I have 2 at the moment, when I first started Diamonding i thought only one then start next….thats how it has been for me up until last week, now I have 2 going 😃it still feels kinda weird but its kinda nice having one square and one round going 😬

I start my XL diamond painting on the 1st of the year. I will work on it exclusively for all of January. Then work on it throughout the year. I have multiple WIP going. 4 wips, I brought into the new year. Need them finished so I can start some new ones. Happy New Year
