When they launched quads years ago they even specifically said they wouldnt ever have a method to condense tabs... A tip I've never seen mentioned before - you can make a seperate folder, which you can name, for each of your basic tabs, essentially a free premium tab without color changing or selling capabilities, but useful for organizing.

Note, a quad tab is 10 point more expensive than 4 regular premium tab . So there is no reason to really buy the quad tab unless you really like having a big chungus tab

If just playing PoE2, gem and currency. Map tab will be good *later* when they implement it as the waypoint tab (if you view the map tab it says it isn’t available yet but will be in the future). Beyond that, some premium tabs. These are good to start. Upgrade your regular tabs to premium, too.

So, I suggest always buying premium tabs when you do get “regular” tabs (AKA not a specific tab like currency, gem, map, etc.). I don’t remember how many tabs you get to start, but I suggest upgrading them to premium tabs at the very least. I started with, like, 3 premiums I think? Plus map, currency, and one specific tab back in PoE 1. I’ve bought a bunch more premium tabs over time, so just remember that you can always get more down the road. And there’s stash tab sales every ~3 weekends. Also, the specific type of stash tabs are useable to trade out of, but can only store that specific thing. So, example being if you got the gem stash tab, you are able to set it to public and set prices to trade out of it. But you can only store gems in it.

@@24News-t5i So, I definitely replied and, like, saw it there. But now it’s not visible? So idk. Anyway. I would recommend at least upgrading your regular tab(s) you have to premium. I don’t remember how many you start with, so if you only have one then I recommend maybe getting like, one or two premium tabs on top of upgrading (along with my recommendation of gem and currency). I started with 2/3 and map, currency, and essence in PoE 1. Throughout the leagues I played after I picked up more - always remember you can get more. There are stash tab sales every ~3 weeks. Premium and standard generic tabs will store anything, the specific tabs (map, gems, essence, etc.) all are able to also be set to public to trade out of, too, but can only be used to store the specific thing it’s for.

i have something over 100 premium non-quad tabs from POE1 closed (and open???) beta. it used to be 2 same name rares for an Alch. Until they changed it to needing 3 it was basically P2W with the help of a match finding tool.

You know, you can put transmutations not in stacks but in singles all over your stashes and complain about little space available just as well. What use you have in mind for those 2 tabs of uncut skillgems? Are you going to create 10-20 side characters and you "stock up" on skill gems prematurely? If so - you have little to no business doing endgame stuff since you're so busy with leveling all those characters all the way to level 60 - and by the time you'll accomplish that monstrosity of a task game will reach it's 1.0 release 😂

Well to be short if you are a long term player and have money, just buy all of them. if you are new player this in order of priority : Currency maps Fragments ( if you are gonna play poe 1 ) Upgrade at least 1 premium tab ( for trade ) Quad tab ( at least 1 for map strategy , rush all maps and dump loot ) Gems ( if you gonna play poe 2, this is not as important in poe 1 ) Divination cards ( poe 1 ) Essence Unique pick what ever else you see useful or buy the kirac's vault pass to support the game it will give you a nice armor ( the current one has a heidous looking maybe w8 a little to the next season )

They haven’t stated specifically but if you view the map stash tab in your stash by showing disabled tabs, the message states that it will be available at a later time. The other ones (like delve, for example) just state that the tab isn’t available in the version of the game, no mention of later availability.

The 6x premium bundle is more point efficient, only buy quad tabs if you prefer the layout or like having a big tab for dumping gear.

A very important thing to know is that the tabs you buy on PC are not transferred to PS5. Maybe the reverse is also true. I do not know about XBox. It is a very weird thing we don't have access to our tabs cross-platform. I don't know if there's any official explanation from GGG.

I THOUGHT that was Sony's fault, not GGG's fault, and that tabs are shared between PC and XBox, BUT, I could be remembering wrong. Ziz may have addressed this in one of his other POE2 videos because I heard something about that somewhere.

Well, I don’t think it was ever officially confirmed anywhere that it is a Sony issue, but GGG stated multiple times they were working on making everything cross platform, then announced it wouldn’t work on Sony consoles. Plus, Sony has a history of this kinda anti-consumer practice. So, safe to assume it’s on Sony.

I got the gem tab, the blight tab, and 2 quad premium. Getting the gem tab freed up a quad tab so it was a win. The blight tab wasn't as good an investment but not having to manually sort oils is just quality of life I wanted.

@@Amasoful I know, I spent the points on stash tabs I knew I'd need and I'm going to be playing a lot more poe1 than 2 for awhile. I really liked acts 1-3 but, after that, EA is boring as shit for me. I had more fun rolling a t16 with a bleed glad than the last 25 hours of poe2 frost sorc. It's a good game, and probably going to get a lot better, but it's bland, less interesting, and the Ruthless 2.0 mentality sucks once you figure out the only use for exalts is to buy gear from how bad the ID items one line at a time crafting system is.

Correct me if Im wrong and maybe this is useless info on just regular tabs sorry if so, before the sale I was just gonna get the quad bundle (which btw the Exile and Quad bundles are WORSE with the sale right now and shows that they're still cheaper individually), but if you are curious like me about the numbers as there are normal and prem tabs bundled on sale I calculated that: 6x normal tab bundle @110 saves you 10 points (compared to same amounts @ individual sale price) at 18.3~ per, 6x prem tab bundle @165 saves you 15 pt.s at 27.5 per, and this is compared to a quad tab @120 which is equiv of 30 per 4x prem tabs. So perhaps if you only need a single tab to sell, you get the normal 6x bundle and upgrade just 1 to prem for a total 120 pts.

You are over thinking this , here is a tip from an old poe 1 player , if you ran into maps you just dump all your stuff into quad tabs and then rush to the next map so on and so forth, when you finish mapping you just start identifying what you looted in the quad tabs. it is more about efficiency rather than what gives you more space. it's your call at the end.

I also play only SSF, but having played PoE since the very beginning in 2013, I pretty much bought everything, including a bunch of extra stash tabs, some premium and quad tabs. Anyway, what I consider absolutely necessary for beginners: gems, currency and uniques tabs. But if you intend to play PoE for long term, you should buy all tabs.

Nope, they are account bound. Some of them are not yet in the game but when they get added you will have them, also, if they dont get added because that specific content doesn't get to PoE2 they will compensate us (Jonathan didn't specified how that compensation would be, but it was metioned at least).
