Where can I get a list of what we need to bring to the practical? Ie., what’s in the universal kit, the bags, basically everything to set up?

Great Question - Depending on your state and which company they use, you should have access to a Candidate Information Bulletin (CIB). Many states follow NIC standards. NIC documents identify the supplies at the end of their CIB's.

Correct - Water is not accessible at your state board exam. However, you could bring a bowl and a bottle of water to your exam. There will be no place to dump the excess water out, so you will have to place a towel in the bowl to absorb any excess water, then place the towel and bowl in the appropriate bags when done. I would also avoid remoistening the sponges in your clean water bowl, so you may want to use cotton rounds and discard them after each pass. Remembering to sanitize after you place items in the trash. It can be a bit tedious. This is an old version of the exam. New Hampshire uses DL Roope and you'll be performing the Basic Facial.
