Hey how can I manually find out how much a person is owed in state & county surplus funds? My state’s website will say “$50 or greater” instead of the amount. My county’s website does not give any $ amount.

Yes, a lot of your problems boil down to a lack of professionalism & communicating certainty of the outcome from them working with you. People have no problem working with/paying you when you come across as a true expert that can solve a need of theirs.

Depends on the State your working in. Some will allow the paperwork to be created digitally but still will require the Claimant's signature to be written in wet ink with a Notary present.

I'm not sure what State you registered the LLC in so its tough to give you an exact answer. Most states have a code book to help you register you Business properly so it can be taxed the correct way. I would reach out to the State Department with that question but generally speaking describing it as a "consulting" Business will be fine.

Thank you! I charge the maximum amount the State Department allows me too ( generally 10-30%). If the State doesn’t have a commission cap I don’t go above 40%.
