Best base setup for container fort 2 gardens 1 lvl 2 meds and one lvl 3 farm- add mods that increase yield like compost bin(+100 yield) Armory Lounge or what ever you want as a 2nd large slot Infirmary lvl 3 Kitchen lvl 2 (craft boxes of seeds for doubling farm produce) Rain catcher And the rest is what your base comes with Outposts- 2 materials 2 fuel and 1 power (use outpost upgrade from workshop 3) With this setup you can adjust it to where you can have a community of 8 with little to no moral penalties and the only cost is -1 materials per day!

If you have a character with with firearms specialty you can fix those weapons free!! Just put the gun on that character and shoot it, they will to a little animation jerking on the gun, and it will magically be fixed.

If you have someone with the weapon handling specialization then they can fix a broken (red) firearm for free, no parts required
