Hello and welcome back to QuickSaveTV!
Today we're talking about State of Decay 2, more specifically we study the different strategies and tactics we can use to destroy the vicious Plague Hearts responsible for the transformation of the Zombie hordes around the world of Post-Apocalyptic America and learn together how we can do that in an effective way that allows us to preserve our Ammunition, Fuel and other valuable resources.
1. We learn how we can use Energy Drinks to completely disregard the hordes that the Plague Heart will summon.
2. We learn what type of gear we need to use to obliterate the misbegotten heart.
3. We learn how to efficiently craft the necessary tools in order to effectively and efficiently dispatch these abominations.
4. We learn how our friends and community members can help us survive the ordeal and return home triumphant.

Point blank automatic shotguns work well, also.

Good point! But you need to repair them after. You don't need to repair molotovs.

That's about how I do it. I figured this out on my own early because you can kill a plague heart before the feral spawns if you have enough explosives and throw them fast enough

Is destroying Plague Hearts always good thing? People said that the more hearts destroyed, the more plague Zs and Freaks are out there. So im kinda refraining from doing it when in other people's world unless they want to Im in Nightmare mode btw

Hello hello! I would like to see the proof of what you're saying, because I honestly have not heard anyone talking or discussing it. Seems like an Urban Legend to me. I noticed, that if I remove plague hearts and infestation in an area of the map, it becomes considerably more peaceful (almost entirely quiet). Logically, I think it should work on the opposite level and I think it does. The more damage you deal to the Zombie horde (in form of Hearts) the more they start to feel it. I have also noticed that when I had at least 1 heart on the map, regularly I would get attacked by 2 juggernauts and 1 horde (or more) + some other odd freaks. I noticed also, that after destroying the final heart, this changed to 0 juggernauts and 1 horde +some odd freaks. Thanks for an interesting question! TL;DR: Didn't see any proof of that. I see the proof of the opposite. So the answer is no.

I read that from utube comments so I also unsure whether its true or not. From my own experience, leaving 2 or 1 plague hearts in whole map seems to reduce the plague Zs hordes. But I feel like the number of freaks/ferals encounters has increased. Unsure if its because least plague heart numbers or because more days has passed so difficulty ramped up

It seems to be true, but after you destroy it all, it become calm, I got juggernaut 2 everyday around my base, good source of influence

To kill a plague heart faster use a road flare and bloater gas

A good way to deal with these is bringing a vehicle with a shit ton of extra explosives, plague cures and boom boxes which will keep anything off of you
