Sarah comes across as warm , intelligent, and intuitive. As far as Carly, I feel like Sarah, Tamara and Laura have each been the right person to bring her character to life , as Carly has aged, grown and evolved. GH has been so lucky to have three such talented actresses portray her , and probably even more lucky to have all 3 have such chemistry with Maurice.

I agree. One of the top three actors. She was the most convincing and nuanced Carly to me. She really made you understand Carly's motivations which I think it completely lacking now. I will never forget Sarah's acting when Carly's adoptive momma died or when Claudia's baby died. Just phenomenal.

I loved this episode because She got to take care of her father and I just lost my mom to dementia. My family had to place her in a facility but we visited often. She was 82 and had given up on eating which made her go down more quickly. I lost my dad to lung cancer 23 years ago and now I' m an orphan at 52!!!!! Thank you for giving me something to hang on to, great acting and friends!!!!

Her and Tamara were my favorite Carly's. She brought the edge while Tamara's version brought the vulnerability that made her more likeable while still keeping that edge. Sarah was fantastic as Claudia as well. But I remember back when she was on VR Troopers and she had a cameo appearance on Power Rangers. Real ones know.

Sarah Brown had the best storylines in the role of Carly. She was the ultimate Carly. I wish they never killed off the character of Claudia. She was always a joy to watch on screen on GH. She just had a rawness in her performance that didn’t feel like the typical “soap acting” she felt real on screen.

It a a JOY 💯💯💯 to see and hear Sarah Brown today. I LOVED her on GH. This girl stands out in the crowd with the raw and real, to each scene. As Carly, she brought that character to LIFE. Then she comes back years later as a whole different character. I'm thinking GH is so hokey for that move because WHO could pull that off? Well, Sarah can. Listening to this interview and her background and training...wow. She's every bit the powerhouse from the inside, out. I'm pressed. Thank you Maurice for bringing Sarah to us in a whole different light. She seems amazing personally as well as professionally. Yes, my favorite Carly BUT having said that, I absolutely adore Laura Wright. No comparison really. The two of them are QUALITY actresses 💯💯💯.

Sarah is one of my all time favorite actors. While she played Carly- Carly would do the most vile things but Sarah is so talented you HAD to root for Carly. She had the ability to make you FEEL everything she wanted you to. I've been a die hard Jarly fan since April 1996(sorry, Carson fans) I loved Sarah's Carly with Jason so much, I was excited to see Laura's Carly FINALLY marry Jason 25 years later- even though it was short lived. I wish Sarah was treated better off screen. It's a shame. Her career deserved to be so much bigger.
@brynne77 Жыл бұрын
Completely disagreed. When Carly did the most vile things, I would just hate her to her core. Watching this, I'm pretty stunned Sarah is as nice as she is. She's actually pleasant and civilized and not criticizing everyone every 5 minutes like her character Carly was. But that doesn't make me want to forgive the awful things her character did years ago.

Love all of the State of Mind conversations, but this is my my FAVORITE, so far. When talking about leaving a good job to go to a better job, it is also scary to leave a bad but secure job and losing that work history. My Great Grandmother saw my Uncle Ricky, who died at the age of 2, the night before she died. She kept asking my Grandmother, "Do you see little Ricky? He is standing right there in his sailor suit!" So I know he came to take her home. Thank you, Maurice and Sarah, for sharing a great conversation. 🥰

Amazing show! It was nice to have "Sonny and (original) Carly" back together. As a dually licensed clinician (mental health and addictions), I am so glad that you both, as celebrities, are brining awareness to the struggles that men also face with their mental health. The idea that men have to be strong and not show emotion is disheartening and I've worked very hard with my own patients to celebrate their taking steps to help themselves. Sarah is so generous to her fans. I remember her talking to me about food allergies in the early days of facebook. She truly cares about everyone. Fantastic interview!
