State of New World After Season 5 - A Bagg of Trick Podcast Ep: 12

This is Episode 12 of A Bagg of Trick, it took us a while to record another episode and the reason is because Season 4 had nothing to talk about, and well while Season 5 is kind of the same, we are now in the lowest stage we have ever been and we felt it was time to communicate our thoughts about the state of the game.

AGS should make it so the gear that drops in the runeforge is guaranteed 695-700, increased transmog token drop chance. Gear from runeforge cache should all be BOE so people have incentive to potentially make some big gold. PvP: there needs to be an increase or a prestige option for going past rank 200. Rank 200 is a dead end and decreased the incentive to play and the rewards seem even worse in terms of perk mods, etc. There needs to be an option for a "Bloodsoaked Token" where you can exchange the token for an artifact of your choice that would be given from the PvP track rather than getting some shit RNG. OPR cache should drop transmog tokens too. House decorations are also another potential reward.

Amazing ideas, I been pushing the prestige system for the longest time now, since I was 200 basically 1 month of tracks coming out. I also like the blood token idea, if it is from the pvp track let us buy this token with a combination of faction tokens and azoth salt. I sit with 300k faction tokens and 100k azoth salt all the time with no real use.

Need more ways to access the war mode, and a smaller-scale version of the mode as well. Company vs Company not tied to territory. A 'challenge' system, then scheduled/rostered like a regular war. 50v50 and a 20v20 or 25v25 variant for smaller companies. Game desperately needs more company content. Raid v Raid OPRs too. Friends keep friends playing, and it's an MMO.

I don't know if I'm completely crazy but I believe people, including me, played a lot more when they had the expertise/gear score system. Yes it was kind of bad over all, but it was a progression system. Now if you have enough gold you can just buy items and be done with it. Besides the artifact farm to make you more powerful. I think they need a longer, more enjoyable progression system. Besides everything else, solving bugs and etc. I wish to come back to the game one day!

Melee tracking is so bad with some weapons worse than others. Hatchet, sns, and ga being worse with spear, gs, rapier being much better. It rubber bands you back in place costing crucial dmg to essentially be negated.

I'm at 150 PvP Rank and still don't have Ankh. As for everything else, what a cluster-fuck. Here's my Tin Foil Hat theory: I think they're making New World as horrible as possible while trying to seem like they care (for accountability reasons) so they can create an excuse to drop the game completely... allowing them to move their entire team on Lord of the Rings full time. This would allow them to push for a speedier release of their "Cash Cow" game.

I came back on release and found out that some artifacts like venom come from the old arenas. I figured I'd do some Siren for venom... until I got there and remembered that you can't do it when someone else is in there already... so there was a queue of 3 groups, in line... taking turns between themselves. I just logged off and haven't gone back on.

Pvp track needs a tweak. I haven't seen an artifact for 20 tracks now. At around 130 pvp track. I've gotten ankh freedom or whatever else came from it but still can't find some that I need for builds. Constantly having things broken in the game is just inexcusable. Assassin builds are everywhere since mounts in opr. 3v3 still near impossible to get into. Pvp is just In poor state.

S5 stinks...waiting till June is the best option to keep frustration and depression on a low level xD (i mean gatekeeping artifacts behind old shitty content, that does nothing for you + needed active players/groups to do it, where NW is o its lowest playercount > RIP low pop servers vs. S5 content)

instead of ppl saying ''oohh dadada make the drop rates easier and high and good and best etc etc'' i say make the named items RARE to get, example frigid dawn pieces to be TRADABLE and very rare and also drop only at m3 this way can force people to actually farm and do something valuable to get instead staying afk at brimstone looking good. drops rate are very high and gear is very easy to get which makes it hold NO value at all . you end up having nothing to do im not gonna talk about wars only selected ppl get to try and not neccesarely have to be good.
