Greetings. Love your collection Kieran. Thanks for sharing. Love that it’s not full of black dial sports watches in a bracelet… though that Omega is all class…quite varied! Nomos didn’t work for me either though the movement was gorgeous. The FC is beautiful. That new Timex is spot on also. Side note, really enjoy your builds. And actually the one without the second hand on the white strap I think is just brilliant!!

That Timex is amazing! It looks perfect on your wrist as a formal dress watch. I have an old Timex Q that my Grand Father wore as his only watch, and it doesn't have that tinny tick that just turns me off modern Timex watches.

Hi, Kieron, that Timex, the 20th, is a different version of the one that I have. I bought it in 1990 or 1991. Unfortunately, someone went through my baggage in a flight from Mexico City to Amsterdam and lost it. In a time when Internet didn't exist, getting a new one was nearly impossible. I never forgot that watch, I really loved it. A couple of years ago, searching for a vintage watch, I found the exact same model on eBay. Supposedly, kept in drawer for 30 years. I bought it , sent it to repair and now is one of my favorites. As for the Beaucroft that same Seeker in teal will be my birthday present from me to me in a couple of months from now. Very interesting collection and as always excellent video. Congratulations and happy hollidays.

Ending the year with a 53 watch collection. Wanting to keep it at 50 so a few to go out… You’re SMP300 is the pick for me. Not because it’s the most expensive, it’s because of its design q’s taken from the original 60’s SM200 - I’m not a fan of modern Omega. It’s been fun watching your enthusiasm, passion and evolution. You remind me of me 20-years ago, a time when I discovered watch forums and had enough disposable income to buy what I wanted. Best of luck for 2025.

Thank you for your kind words mate. It's been a very fun year of watches. 53 would send me into a meltdown. I wouldn't know what to wear 😂 and bang on with the SMP. The last watch they made based on the MOD SMPs... A big reason why I wanted it! Stay well mate 🙏

What a beautiful collection. Particularly like the two-tone Tag, the ROUE chrono, the SRPG63 and that lovely Beaucroft. This year I shrinked my collection from over 30 watches to 12, the most recent sold being an RZE Resolute and Zelos Mako v3 (amazing but wasn't wearing it)... Currently I have the SPB197J1 Alpinist on a Strapcode bracelet, a blood red Direnzo DRZ03, a brown dial Orient Tobacco (search for it), the SNK355, SNK809K1 (on the chopping block), Seagull 1963 38 mm (could be on the chopping block soon), the Casio A700, Boldr Rally Wells Chrono, the Yema Superman Air Force special edition (probably my current favorite), Seiko SRN027 (superb discontinued model), a square G-Shock and 2 pieces that are more sentimental (vintage Pierre Chatelain and a dressy Lorus). Hope to restrain the collection to just 10 pieces, whatever the taste evolves into :)
@markriley586321 күн бұрын
I have a small collection at present but one I intend to increase by dipping into the used market. There are no surprises or cool micro brands but here goes. My oldest watch is the Omega Seamaster Pierce Brosnan Quartz edition with the skeleton hands. I also have a Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical, a Tissot PRC chronograph, a Bulova Lunar Pilot, a Bulova Super Seville and a Casio G-Shock Casioak with Bluetooth and Tough Solar. I love the Bulovas, I think Bulova is such an underrated brand, but at the moment the Casioak gets most wrist time for its lightness, accuracy and good looks. .

That is such a sweet Timex! Love the Kamasu and the Casio's and the customs! Better you than me. The day that I run is when there is an alien invasion or a volcanic eruption. I get why you sold the Cartier and the Nomos. When you get an ick in a watch its just never the same. I have a titanium Pulsar that is like your Tag in my collection. I bought it for super cheap and its scuffed and scratched but there is not a week that I dont wear it. Ooh bye bye Baltic... That Omega is pure class and practical! The Bi Compax is very pretty. I bought a Seiko this year for the first time in years. Its a chrono and that is weird for me because I dont like chrono's but that blue dial is lovely. FC is super pretty! 10/10. You should try an Alpina too! The Rangemaster is fantastic but the new one is even more so! Hope you get the Laco man. Hopefully the drama surrounding it has been resolved.

Hey man, seconds hand. Get your hand pressing tool, put a TINY (tiny) pinch of rodico or blu-tack on it. Use that to pick up the seconds hand (like a suction cup, but with blu-tack). Carefully pick up your movement, hold it eye level, then line up the seconds hand and try like thirty seven times to get it pressed on.

I find collections so fascinating, I have a manual job, never wear a suit, and like my watches with cardinal numbers. I would never consider filling my collection with a dress watch I would never wear or Chrono I would never use, or a colour I didn't have. So I'm a Tudor Ranger, San Martin Ranger homage (in the blue) Elliot Brown Cranford, G Shock Mudmaster. Saving for a Sinnn556. I'm not saying I don't appreciate others collections and admire them, maybe I'm just a little...plain.

Interesting collection, it really shows off individual taste. I love the goofy panda Studio Underd0g. It's my favorite from the brand. The more conservative color scheme balances it and makes it look more premium than the others. A pity about that Baltic! I can accept a ghost date on a $250 AliExpress watch, but not on something costing double or more! I'd be in the same boat. Handsome watch though. Maybe keep an eye out for a secondhand Raymond Weil Millesime sector dial. That would be a big step up, and I think they'll end up pretty affordable pre-owned.

A watch worth looking into it you're after a (super)compressor would be the Circula Supersport. Circula is a German family-owned microbrand, and the Supersport is an actual supercompressor, rather than adoptng the style of one like many other brands do. I don't know what budget you're working with, nor do I know how much extra you'll pay with import duties after Brexit, but here (in the Netherlands) the price ends up just below €1000-- which is well below the Longines Legend Diver.
