That Hublot pocket watch is awesome. My personal favorites are the Chris Ward Twelve, the Farer Resolute 39mm, the Fears with the applied Arabic numerals, and the Seiko two-tone 1968 case (SPB240-looks like the original Marine Master but thinner with gold accents and a gilt black dial, I wear it more than any other watch).

The only watch on the list i own (or have ordered and will receive in 2 weeks) is the Awake Son Mai in Red. Cant wait for it as i believe itll be in my top 2 fav watches in my collection. I only buy microbrands as i think they offer more interesting pieces with cool designs and the price. But i tend to go for the pricier of the microbrands.

I've never had a titanium watch. Is it actually worth anything? Heavy steel watches feel nice and sturdy, and if well designed they're not uncomfortable at all. So what's the deal?

A very well made titanium watch/bracelet like the Alpine Eagle 8Hf feels fantastic, but most (like zenith offerings) feel a little toy-like, as any play with a lighter material feels lower end.

I am no fan of Hublot, but that pocket/table watch at #15 is super cool. Not worth the money, but very cool nonetheless. Money aside, I would still rather have the Tudor Black Bay or the Omega Speedmaster. Also, that kollokium projekt 01 is stupid cool, and i wouldn’t mind showing it off to other watch nerds. I am also down with what studio underdog is doing, but they need to turn up production a bit, to really make it shine ✨

My thoughts: 15 Hah 14 Nah 13 Meh 12 Nah 11 Oh yeah 10 I say 9 I say 8 Oh yeah 7 Nah 6 Nah 5 Nah 4 Well it's an Arman Strom 3 Nah 2 Hell yeah 1 Hmmm You can't have one without the other and £55k is taking the pi** somewhat. As for the honourable mention and whilst I appreciate your collaborative colour I can't help think of the Bel Canto as overrated. Unless you are in a very quiet space you can't hear the chime and as for telling the time with the small dial and hands. I know this because I waited 18 months for mine. Should have put the investment towards an IWC Big Pilot. Anyway. Happy new year.

Doris explained that we were in cloud and this was going to be as good as it gets but since we’d come this far we may as well reach the top of the steep hill . which we did , and were rewarded with more grey , and precipitation , and higher winds . so today we had an indoor day in the warm , out of the wet . we listened to your offering of this week and i started !! which made Doris start , and she inquired of me ,QUE ????? this fella , i said to Doris , has shocked me to my core , AGAIN !!!, (or in Forrest Gump spik , UUGAYN !!!) COMO ES ESO ???? Doris , she says to me . well , says i , the blyta has introduced a new word into my ken , UUGAYN . what word might that be ?? says Doris , reverting to her more everyday vernacular, having exhausted her vocabulary of Spanish phrases to use when stuck in a bathroom, what word might that be ??.that word , says i to Doris is TRIANGULUS . so tomorrow when we triangulate our position on the triangular path we intend taking , oddly enough , a triangle , me and Doris can meditate on the new word which came to us as from the heavens , or Cromore , which is a village in paradise . whtevva!!!! usual BAGGSIES !!!!!
