You put me on to Farmacy Honey Halo and the Farmacy cleansing balm and the Tatcha indigo serum sometime last year and now I’ve lost count of how many jars of these 3 items I have gone through. My wallet isn’t so happy about it but my skin has never been happier and no other moisturizer or cleansing balm I have tried since comes anywhere close. I always trust your rec’s based on how these became my holy grails.

I run a lot warmer than you do and many things that look pink on you turn orange on me. However, that Make up by Mario skin enhancer in light medium still looks pretty neutral on me! Definitely my favorite “brontour”

Yes! I bought the Ami Cole lip oil about a month ago and I love it so much that I’m almost though my first tube. It’s so wonderful! But if you reapply a lot you’ll go through it quickly. But like only if you wear it from first waking up til prepping for bed 😅 - it really does last well on application!

Lots of great recommendations. I will have to pick up a Kulfi blush. I have the new Real Techniques Daygleam Glassy Glow foundation brush. It’s the same size as the Sephora but just a tad fluffier. Works the same as the Sephora brush which I also love.

Have you smelled the NEST Balinese Coconut perfume oil? I think I'm going to pick up a rollerball in the sale. On me it was coconut overload in the best way (like, I couldn't stop sniffing my arm as I walked around the store haha) and I think it would make a nice scent for layering, too!

They serve slightly different functions for me! But I also enjoy owning multiple moisturizers, and I keep the rest of my skincare routine pretty streamlined. Farmacy honey halo is like a soothing, rich cream that sets to a satin finish. Tatcha indigo overnight treatment is truly a treatment and multitasker - a hydrating serum, deeply soothing repair treatment, and an occlusive moisturizer with a dewy finish. They are my two favorite moisturizers. I reach for Farmacy when my skin is in good to slightly sensitized condition, and I reach for Tatcha when my skin is super sensitized and in need of quick relief.

They’re such different formulas, I can’t compare. I reach for Ami Colé when I want something with a glossy, high shine finish and a tacky texture. I reach for Fitglow when I want more nourishment and a liquid lip balm feeling

Do you ever have issues with sunscreen making your eyes water? I'm trying to find a sunscreen that won't make my eyes water as it migrates into them throughout the day and I saw that you put your sunscreen right up to the lash line.

Yes! that’s why I don’t wear chemical sunscreens. Mineral sunscreen never stings my eyes

How do you feel about the Danessa Myricks' Color Fix? Don't know if you've ever tried them.

I’ve reviewed them here! The formula of the color fix in celebration was great, but I realized I don’t reach for cream shadows - too messy for me. And I didn’t love any of the colors. I found the formula of the color fix foils a little difficult to work with. Overall not the product for me, but I can’t deny how good the formula is (of the regular ones, not the foils)

Kait I'd love to know if you've tried the Bobbi Brown vitamin enriched face base? I have a sneaking suspicion that the farmacy honey halo is super similar! I've looked over the ingredients list of both & they're almost spot on except the farmacy has more beneficial ingredients & costs almost half the price! Please lmk! I adore the honey halo & go through a jar about every 6-9 mos, it's a must have for me as well! *actually, I just double checked & was wrong on the price. The 3.4oz of farmacy is $74 vs Bobbi Brown $99

Yes!! The textures are almost identical. Bobbi brown has strong fragrance which irritates my skin, and Farmacy has a natural honey scent and feels super soothing to me.

I was surprised at how similar the ingredients were! I love honey halo, as well as the honey grail, & the honeymoon aha/bha body (although the honeymoon smells like actual vomit- it works amazing) 🫶💛🐝

Has anyone tried the Charlotte Tillbury I think they're called superstar lips or something, there's no name just the shade and thiner gold bullet. They are a very thin sheer pigmented balm part gloss and lippy in one very thin on the lips and builable I hear no one talk of them, I wouldn't say they're super creamy but incredible formula. Bet it gets discontinued 😮 hope not I have nothing quite like it.

I like to use it mixed in with moisturizer, in place of moisturizer, or under sunscreen best. But that’s because I’m not a glowy primer girl, it works great as a primer too
