Thanks for asking. Many creative I have spoken to wait for a magical state of mind before they think they will find their creative capacity. So they wait and wait. During that wait they are more concerned about finding this elusive state and forget to realize there isn't a special state. You can create in any state of mind that shows up. My aunt is a painter and many of get paintings her created when she was going through chemotherapy. She didn't spend time managing her state.. She spent that time picking up a brush and painting. I hope this helps.
