I just purchased the Moon Goddess by Josephine Wall, 110 x 145 cm also in black and white. I had too after viewing your first video on the unboxing Prelude To A Kiss. I love these kind of challenges. I can't help but giggle at your reaction. Love it. Looking forward to viewing your process on kitting your diamonds for a large project like this.

I was feeling your pain. I bought from same company, same size, same artist, different picture. Bluebird. Took me a week to kit up spending an hour at a time. I am learning extreme patience. I think OCD comes with the territory for diamond painters. ;-) Looking forward to seeing your progress. I plan on taking my time expecting it to take 2 years with projects between so I don’t burn out on my monster project.

This seems incredibly daunting! My biggest canvas is a 120x160 but it only has 48 colours, you are a literal champion! Really looking forward to see how you're going to tackle this epic kit!

I am watching and learning. My illegal J.Wall has to be kitted up at one point. It has 200 colours. Luckily that one is not as big as yours. It is 90x120 cm. I wish you bunches of luck and love kitting up this 'blanket' of a painting.

Hi Gracie, I bought the largest size in this image as well, but from a different company that has since gone out of business. Mine was in colour, but the glue was not great and the drills were dull and popping badly. I had contacted the owner several times before she went out of business, but she never rectified the situation. I’m glad I didn’t order it from the company you did. The static would drive me bonkers too. I hope once you are kitted up, the experience will get better for you. Good luck. ❤

I just kit up by dmc on large drill paintings. It’s amazing how quickly you do find them. I drag out the bottles I need for the section I’m working on adding more as I go. It saves all the brain power using for breaking them down into groups. Muscle memory kicks in very quickly. Good luck.

20 minutes, and still havent put one drill in a container. Mercy. This is already stressing you out. Diamond painting should be enjoyable. Lol i would of just kit it up and started. I have way too much stress in life and not beinging that fewie into my crafting room 😂😂😂. Good luck, I hope you can get through it. Im new, and just subbed❤ I watched your unboxing and loved how big this one is.

I go by the number on the left of your paper 1thru220 and I number the container 1 thru 220. I look at the symbol on the sheet to correspond with the number. Not sure I explained it so you can understand it. I would never find the correct container with that many colors to deal with your way but if you are comfortable that way I'm sure it's easy for you. Good luck that's a big one!!!

I would contact the company and ask them if they sent you the drills for the 70x80 or the the drills for YOUR canvas. If they sent for the 70x80,you won’t have enough drills.

WOW! What a humongous canvas.. lol. Didn't even realise they actually exist so big. I tend to go for the narrower 70 cm and whatever length, my arms cant reach into to the centre, when good old time comes :D I hate static and I don't have the patience to actually chase the diamonds that fly all over my craft room. What I normally use are wet baby wipes, cut into to rectangular shapes. I just stick them in the baggies and leave them there. Even after the baby wipes have dried out - opening up the baggie again, I have more well behaved diamonds lol. Enjoy your lovely selection of canvases. Happy New Year

Rebecca at add more zest found out cut a bit of dryer sheet just smaller than bag. Put it in bag and seal shake ans most of the static goes you can re use the dryer aheet

great minds think alike I do it in the exact same order too - and I get stuck at my arrows too - mish mosh of symbols after that - maybe put them in color order for the ones that are just random? Thank you for videoing this - I've been hesitant about doing large qty paintings I think 80 is the most I've done.....I still haven't figured mine out so watching you struggle is direct reflection of what I do as well - thanks for sharing and happy new year!

Wow, what a massive project to take on board. I commend you for taking it on board. I have kitted up similar to this in the pasr. The product you are after is either goo gone or even eucalyptus oil. I've started putting a thin strip of washi tape first and then the label. Both peel off with no residue after. All the best with this adventure

Brave soul! I don’t envy you! I do wish you luck! You have a good handle on the kitting, but actually working it is going to be soooo tedious, especially on a b&w canvas!

Labor of love, you can tame this massive monster, you got this, no worries, no hurry, I survived my Artdot 420 bottle case, had 16 drills for the canvases, as I get close to finish I set up another diamond painting, got 3 three huge drill sets left in the case, you suggested to color code them , I did, it worked thanks Grace, this looks to be MUCH bigger

Best thing to use for static bag of drills is fresh pencil eraser topper or tiny rubberbands.😊

hate static and can't imagine doing a large number canvas with so much. can't wait to see what you do. take a deep breath.
@carpediemdoesdiamondpainting11 ай бұрын
What I find easier is cutting the labels into strips and cutting close to one edge but leave some extra on the other side remove the sticky part in that extra side then using scissors I just cut through each line but don’t cut all the way to the end just cut to just off the sticky part then you can peel off the labels and it’s a whole lot quicker and easier. 😊
@luckypnut11 ай бұрын
The lids will come off the container if you just pull straight up on it. Just as easy to put back on also. Good luck! Also a spritz of isopropyl alcohol will help calm the static.
@tracygoodenough719811 ай бұрын
i would check with them to make sure you got enough drills before kitting it up i do my german ones by colour i did one useing symbols it drove me mad at times now i kit up with symbol number colour it’s so much easyier this is going to really test you good luck

Gob bless u because my OCD would be going nuts with all the extra drills all over the place. my OCD makes me put every drill in the right container even if i drop them out i have to put them where they belong. Also wouldnt be able to leave drills behind in the bags even though i know most companies do give u extra my OCD just wont let me😂😂

Hi Grace, I am feeling your pain. I have been watching a fellow creator that uses Static gard spray on cotton tips and rubs it in the bag, leaves it for a few seconds then they seam to be fine. Hope this helps you as well. Love you

So far the biggest kitting up I've done is Bookshelf Tabby, at least as big as or close to the top half of a stainless steel refrigerator with a freezer drawer, looks a lot like our kitty Peanut
@aldonakoppenhaver408711 ай бұрын
I kitted mine up by doing the smallest amounts first, up to the largest amounts. After that I usually sort by color family, symbol or DMC code. I haven’t done mine yet but, it is kitted up. I’ve never done one this larger or this many colors. I will be referring to Lisette’s playlist.
@cynthiagant77411 ай бұрын
I have one of those, too. It’s kitted up but it’s not going smooth at all! The symbols on the canvas are difficult to decipher. 😮. It has become a WIP!! Peace my Sister ❤❤😂.

Is there a system you can put on your phone and leave everything in order the way it came and you can type in each symbol and it will give you where in the numerical order to find it

Just found your channel so have not watch any other videos. Did you order this or was it sent as a PR or gift? If you ordered, did not not realize how large it was and how many colors there were when you ordered? You seem surprised at the size and amount of colors so I was wondering. No way would I tackle something like this hahaha I do not have a wall large enough to put something that large and if I worked on something as long as this one will take, I would darn sure want to put it on the wall, after I figured out how to frame it. haha

I think for my brain, that yours and Jennys process of sorting the symbols out in an order that makes sense to you, is a rather complicated and time consuming process, as not all symbols would ideally suit such an atypical category. You would be spending more time just trying to work it all out, and for 200+ colours that would typically frustrate me. I just do numeric order and stick to symbols. If they dont have numbers then I would just create them. I certainly feel for yu and your unfortunate situation. Thanks for sharing such a huge task.

Actually understand how you might not want to do all of that not a mystery; mystery painting… why not ask them to send you the pattern for it to you and send that part back?… Amazon has deals on the Elizabeth Ward containers and I bought 4 they’re 2 for less than what just one used to cost … that brings the total of mine to 6 plus every other kind of storage just about E.W. Are in fact my favorite though…. I look at the symbol I need too from wherever I start and move on from there too…, if it’s going to be like a mystery (that’s not a mystery) I stand behind you if you’re going to love it if it’s making you happy 😊 I was there when you unboxed this one and I was just as shocked as you were 😢and I do only want the best for you…. As Cajun would say “the struggle bus is real” I’m going to pray 🙏 and send you love ❤️ and patience such as Job had.
